The thing is that I would play Valdes as the second keeper over Reina...that's just me...and I would leave Cazorla out bring Pedro in

Arnau, I thought you do not support Spain. Aren't you Catalan who thinks that Spain is crap and wants Catalan team to play instead of Spain?

Not instead of Spain, just as another NT in their own right. Same with Basques.

Reina is also good under-pressure and is an established member of the NT. There's not much between the 3, although I definitely think Casillas is the best of the pack. Valdes has had a great season, and deserves to go if that was the only factor, perhaps even as starter, but he'd be new to the NT and Del Bosque's selection suggests that he's not interested in playing like Aragones did at the Euros. My suggestion that Valdes should go to the NT earlier this season was largely based on the fact that he'd be playing in a very similar system as at Barca. Since that's not the case, he'd be my 3rd choice, too, and between giving Valdes or De Gea NT experience, I'd pick De Gea.

Cesar has also had a great season, really, I'd say Casillas and Reina are 3rd and 4th respectively in terms of form, but that's nt the only consideration.

I think it's odd that Palop has completely dropped out of consideration. He's made a couple of mistakes this year but has been great for us overall. Valdes and De Gea may be in better form, but Palop should at least be in the discussion.

Of the 30, I believe the seven that should be left out are:
Diego Lopez, De Gea, Azpilicueta, Cazorla, Javi Martinez, Guiza and Negredo.

I think Valdes should go because the 3rd keeper is essentially meaningless and at least it will be good for his Barca teammates. And Arnau will stop posting about him ;)

It would be nice to see another Sevilla player on the squad, but it would be a joke if Negredo made it before Pedro or Llorente.

Llorente must make it, he's diferent than the others and looks like the mentalist, Negredo its similar to Güiza and Torres.

Senior Squad
Well del Bosque announced the 30 players on monday 10th!

I hope he'll keep Valdés and de Gea(as third choice) for the final squad!:)

ugh, the number "2" is so aesthetically unpleasing on its own on a jersey ...

and I've always wondered why in the national team Xavi and Iniesta swap their club numbers ...

Epic team. I hope this photo is an historic one.

I just can't get over those GK jerseys though. Arconada was wrong then and we're wrong now :). I think we can blame Palop.
