Squad Formations Sites

Is there any site that provides a rough average of squad formations used all season long? I know there are great resources for game by game formations but I was hoping somebody did an average formation. There are sites for baseball for example that list typical or most used batting orders. I'm starting a FIFA season now and just want a good average for each team in the Premier League.
Thanks for any help. :)

If you can download the weekly data, I bet you can get your averages pretty easily using sql.

I don't think anybody is gonna make that just for football lineups.

You'd be surprised. It can certainly be hard to find, but there's stuff out there. Sometimes people keep things like that on github. Worth a shot.

1. If you don't know what formation each team uses in real life, does it actually matter which formations you assign teams? Go crazy, dream up whatever you like. Make it fun. Me, I do things like remove all custom faces and switch all 20,000 players' names around to create a game full of fake players. That way I don't have to worry about goofy details like weekly roster updates and whether or not players have the correct hairstyles.

2. The actual formation a team uses has almost nothing to do with how the game plays out. Sort of like the player ratings: typically in every EA game, about the only rating that makes any difference is speed/agility/accel. Line sliders have a far greater effect on team positioning and team gameplay style than formations do. Switch up the line sliders for each game: lower them for defensive teams with single attack formations; raise them for teams that utilize a high-attack setup.
