Oh my. Great shooter. It's by an internal team at Lucasarts, I don't know where they've been hiding these guys. Played the demo yesterday, graphics are brilliant (windscreen wiper (H)) and gameplay - I love how good your squad is in finding cover and taking down enemies - I could do nothing and just simply watch them take down Trandoshan raiders and the game would still be fun.

Well, maybe not. :(

Probably the second best (and it's only the demo!) Star Wars game made, best being the original Knights of the Old Republic, of course. (H)

On a side note... Knights of the Old Republic 2 is out on PC this weekend in North America, and next weekend on PC and XBoX in Europe (H)

My favorite Star Wars game is Jedi Academy, mostly because i'm pretty good at it. But still, might take a look on Republic Commando, everyone tells me good stuff about this one.

Jedi Academy was pretty fun to play, but not too great in terms of graphics and the gameplay for me, was too easy. And it controlled too loosely - they didn't tweak anything in the Quake engine in terms of physics. Basically Quake in the Star Wars universe.

I play Jedi Academy for the multiplayer stuff. Almost didnt touch the singleplayer mode. Plus Multiplayer has some cool mods and stuff, it's fun.

I like it how you can develop your on style of play to beat people, the game gives you pretty much freedom in this aspect.

Battlefront is good, shame it has some flaws in it. For example, you can go to a spawn point, camper there and kill people everytime they spawn and they wont see a thing sometimes.

Graphically it's brilliant though.

Jedi Knight and Knights of the Old Republic series are great.

Installed Republic Commando today and it is fucking good, and the Unreal engine is just great. The guy who did the voice of Carth Onasi in KOTOR plays Scorch, I recognised it almost straight away. (H)

The game with potential to be sweet but completely sucked... Star Wars: Rebellion

My favorite star wars game ever was definitely X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, I was even in an online squadron. Hell I was just unstoppable in a TIE Interceptor, those things didn't have shields but I could usually kill anyone in an X-Wing more than they'd take me out. Man what a cool game and my computer screwed up my profile :(

Jedi Knight 2 was pretty cool too, and so was the expansion, Secrets of the Sith or something like that.

My first PSX game was Star Wars Rebel Assault II. I thought it was the greatest **** ever at the time. As for JK2, I spent more hours on multiplayer than I did with story mode. And I'm still itching to try Battlefront.
