Because they look like this on the real kits. Through that holes, you can see the brighter undershirt or skin colour. Looks more realistic, than keeping them black.

well....i suposed is skin color...that's why i was asking...because it doesnt look real...in real life, you can have as much light as you like in that area, and still you wont be able to see the skin !!!...what if Balotelli wear the shirt? ...in my opinion, the color should be a lot darker, if not black...that is reality...
