Starke's Sig Thread

I saw most other ppl have one of these so I thought I might show you some of my latest works. Starting off with this one I made for the VB cricket series currently being played between Zimbabwe, India and Australia. Feel free to post comments.

This is my usual sig, that I will revert to probably after the VB series has finished. It uses the work of Owenisagun, who in the Grafix forum has been producing some great cartoon images of cars. I don't think its that great but its ok and at least I made it myself

The first sig is great. Nothing much, just a simple sig. Nice layout, and looking professional.

Thanks waterfox. Someone told me to add a bit more to the left of my sig, so I came up with this.... do you think its an improvement or a step backward?

Sorry but i dont really like any of your sigs, altho i didnt mind your cars one,

That's the problem. Everyone is subject to their own opinions, so as long as you're happy with your sig, then it's good enough.

Strangely, I think the car one isn't as good as this.

Yeah that's my usual sig, I just thought I'd knock up a quick cricket one while its on...

You need to use a border it makes the sig look alot crisp and cleaner

It looks good just as it is imo. The cricket sig doesn't need a border as it's background colours are solid.

isnt the southern cross missin a star??

2 actually, its not a southern cross though, just 3 randomly placed stars. Heres the pretty much final version and I think I'll probably use it

EDIT: What's the deal with the transparency? I saved it as PNG and when I open it in photoshop it has the checkered background indicating that it is indeed transparent. So does anybody know whats wrong?

png doesnt have transparency...save it as a gif

thanks cyrex! Anyways after using paint shop pro all my life I've switched to Photoshop, because that seems to have more possibilities and more people use it. Here's the result of an experiment using a ****ty tutorial I got off deviantart.

hehe I could just rougly make out the words.

I used paint shop pro before too, but i couldn't find many good tutorials so I switched. Photoshop is much better, more functions and easier to use imo.
