why do I sometimes get the feeling that Semedo is a Nicolita with a better speed and with a slightly improved first touch? they're like brothers really, bring in someone who can hold a ball for 2 seconds Laca! we're terribly lucky to be leading now, if nothing changes at ht I'd be happy with a draw.

We don't have anybody with that quality. Steaua at this moment and for the past 4-5 seasons have not had a central midfielder that can hold the ball and filter passes to our forwards. Our problem right now isn't forwards, it's midfielders. You can't expect Petre and Lovin to do that sort of thing, they are just game breakers. They steal the ball and kick it away immediately, they don't know how to hold onto the ball and when they do it's usually disastrous.

Laca resigned!!! I'm deeply disappointed!
I was a supporter of him as coach! It wasn't his fault that we don't have players. Gigi is the richest man in Romania, but he can't buy 2-3 decent players !?! It's only the players' fault! They should have value, but mst of them are ....
Dayro Moreno is our gem. I am afraid that we'll lose him soon... Thank you!
Robinson Zapata is the greatest GK in Romania. Every GK makes mistakes... I don't know how much he understands but he truly plays! Not thinking about what will he do with his money, like most of others. Thank you!
Mirel Radoi... No words! He is truly "trup si suflet pentru culori". Thank you a lot, Mirel! You will always be a true Steaua supporter, unlike some others (e.g.: Shifty Petrescu who kisses Rapid's flag, Hagi who isn't sure if he supports Galatasaray or Steaua (maybe he's turkish) etc.)

Petre Marin is getting worse by the day imo, his positioning on crosses is horrible. and yeah Alex you're right about the central midfielder issue, plus I can't recall a decent one in the whole Liga 1. Plesan in his prime could have provided that for us I guess but he's just a shadow of his older self now.


as for Dorinel I'm sure he doesn't have the balls either to stand up against GB, the best solution for us would be a foreign coach (no, not Pedrazzini nor Esteban Vigo). Protasov would be my card, but it's too late now I guess. and I hope we don't get the 3rd spot in the CL groups so we don't have an excuse for sucking in Liga 1. that if we get a decent midfielder and a striker too in the winter.

Plesan in his prime? Plesan's "prime" lasted like 10 games. He's always been terrible.

As for Laca quitting, that's to be expected after all that hores*it becali said after the match last night. Dorinel coming is an idiot for coming in. The same thing will happen to him that happened to Hagi and Laca. As long as becali is the owner no coach will survive here for too long. He's a cancer.

Here's what's gonna happen in the winter. becali is gonna basically fire 8 of the 10 players he brought in and he's gonna bring in 10 more that suck just as bad. he doesn't want to spend money on real players but he expects amazing results with these scrubs that he brings in every 6 months. somebody also needs to tell him that you will NEVER get results if you change the manager every 6 months and the roster every 6 months. that's just now how it works but he's a f*cking stupid, unidiotic imbecile, he's the f*cking devil.

I don't think we'll ever win a title again as long as the priorities of the club at the start of the season are in the following order:

1) Qualify for CL groups
2) Win the league

There is something fundamentally wrong with such a mentality at such a big club.

Hahahahha.... funny. They started offering free tickets in highschools here in Bucharest. They came in mine (CNMV , the best highschool in Romania ), and they had 100 tickets available. And they were at Tribuna a II-a! Of course I didn't wanted it. I want in Peluza I! And I'm having flu right now (second time in two weeks, cause I had it after Steaua-Timisoara match (it was stone cold and I wasn't dressed properly)), so...
Anyway, the funny thing is that they said they will offer free tickets to some other highschools in Bucharest.
