Chalobah, McEachran and Omerou weren't sent on-loan so they'll have to be sent to the Championship. This season has not been good on the loans (6! players at Vitesse, 3 of them attackers, one a fullback-cum-winger, one a fullback, another a centreback-fullback). And instead of Lukaku, Torres, Ba, we have Eto'o, Torres, Ba. Not sure I approve, I think Lukaku could have been a starter but at least he will get lots of minutes at a posession-oriented side. Teams will defend deeper against Everton than they did West Brom, it's a good learning opportunity. I suppose Mou doesn't think Lukaku is there yet, or maybe he thinks Torres still has it in him. So long as Lukaku isn't upset, it's manageable.
And, Fellaini went to ManU. This is bad. Before ManU just coasted on their forwards but now they have a proper midfield. Kagawa, Fellaini, Carrick is a very good trio to have. Fellaini and Carrick are certainly better than what we have right now. This season just got quite harder, especially with Ozil at Arsenal, and Spurs and City reinforced. I don't think Spurs will challenge us as much as they did with Bale in direct match-ups, but over the course of the season they should manage to stay up there for longer.
