Willian (and Mata, Hazard, Oscar, KDB and Schurrle) is better than Moses, we haven't loaned our 'great' talent, we loaned our lesser talent. If Moses explodes and becomes better than those guys, excellent, we will reap the benefits. but he wouldn't be able to explode at Chelsea with 5-6 better players competing for a position.

That's three poor performances in a row. The lack of defensive central midfielders is catching up. Hazard's final pass has been bad two games in a row. I liked Oscar in the last game but didn't like Schurrle being taken out, his finishing wasn't good but he made chances.

I think best thing might be to shift David Luiz back to CDM (he's too inconsistent as a C, put Ivanovic/Cahill as the CB's, and put Azpilicueta back at RB. Either way, Mourinho needs to change up the tactics, this isn't working.

How on earth did you guys manage to lose against Basel? I'm not here to rub it into your noses or anything and i didn't manage to watch the match. I checked the results a few hours ago and this was definitely the most suprising one.

I see that Eto'o was a starter, i'm mostly curious about him, because i thought he'd be great for Chelsea. How did he do or did the whole team play badly? And Mata still on the bench? Willian preferred over him who hasn't really had much time to gel with the team. Obviously Mourinho knows better than i do, but Mata should me a starter.

I think i should probably check the highlights of the match first.

First off Eto'o would have to prove himself in the EPL. I believe it was Roberto Carlos who said that Eto'o did everything else during his time at Anzhi besides playing football. I hate to come up with this corny sentence, but "class is temporary form is permanent" and i think that's the case with Eto'o. Too early to judge the guy based on a few matches he has played.

Man Utd have lost to Basel in the past, Basel can take advantage of early season clunkyness. We'll be ok.

I know! Just kidding. He needs time. That is his first time in the EPL.

That being said, saying he is the 3rd best striker in the EPL before him even touching the ball is ridiculous. His time at Anzhi, a way more easy league has been far from spectacular.

Mourinho said that he wants Oscar as his first choice AMF. I think Mata is the one who should play there TBH.

To me, Oscar is very overrated ... very good player, but not that good. He got this reputation after those rockets against Buffon ... Mata has more tools in his Arsenal and he's a fighter.

Mata is currently better but Oscar is amazing and more well-rounded and will be one of the very best player in the world in a few years. Oscar should be AMC and Mata RW. Also, just rotate.
