Still SLOW gameplay pes4/we8i PC after........!!!

After buying a new videocard (Asus 9600xt 128mb) and a new expensive motherboard i STILL don't have normal gameplay..
its still slow and so its boring to play!

I expect with my system that i can play those games almost like on playstation2 or Xbox!
Or should I buy a p4 3.2 ghz and a videocard of 600 Euro?:kader:

How about other people play we8i/pes4 on PC?

My system :
P4 1.6 ghz
512mb DDR memory
Asus 9600xt 128 mb
Asus p4p800e-deluxe motherboard
Windows XP Pro SP2

My friend's running WE8:I on 800x600 on his laptop and it's only a Celeron 1ghz and a default onboard graphics card.

Can't understand why that card you've got won't play it smoothly. PES4 I can understand but WE8:I should run smooth.

i play pes4 very smooth. I got an 2years(maybe more) old athlon 1.1ghz, a radeon9700 vga card and 512mb. Your system is better, im not sure if your vga card is good though, but im not an expert.

yes radeon is surely better but anyway..with my card should also run fine!
Why all other games run smooth but onyl Konami soccer games!:kader: :f***:

With that money i can buy a ps2 with the game

Both games run ok on my pc and it aint been upgraded for years i have a matrox millennium g400 pishy thing in it with 512 ddr and a xp 1700 athlon, i dont understand howpeople with those meaty spec pc`s cant play it ok

Have u tried playin in Window Mode at a low resolution or low setting? Usually i'll play in full mode then ALT+Enter into Window Mode and the speed will be decent,but that was before I got a new vid card and upgraded my RAM to 1gb instead of 512mb. With you 1.6ghz that can also be a root of all problems, quite possibly ur processor can't handle ur new vid card power. Try my first two suggestions first, also have u updated ur directx?

I've seen a lot of posts like this wolf, and I am confused. PES4/WE8 are essentially the same thing right, especially graphically, so how come so many people claim WE8 is much smoother?

Both games seem to run identically here, at least FPS wise. What's so different with everyone else?

i see your from holland. Why did you buy a 9600XT, which costs around 140eu? You could get a 9700pro for around 160eu and if you can invest more you can get a 9800pro 128mb for around 180eu.
I think with these cards it will run smoothly.

i dont think that you can let it run on pc as smooth it runs on ps2!
What i want to explain is that on pc you always will have some slow gameplay...at consoles you never get this problem(except pen area)

But maybe you are right...

the game runs well enuff for me to play with no major probs with we8 runnin smoother but i know what u mean about the ps2.

One of my m8`s runs we8 on a high end siemens laptop with mobile radeon and it pisses all over ps2. so really ur pc should deal with it.

Maybe i ask a silly question but is there anything running when u open task manager that maybe shouldn`t be?

its not a silly question but i close all programs when i start to play..
i even installed windows again but still its going slow
maybe i THINK it goes slow:confused:
maybe the max gamespeed IS like this but i dont think so...
go play "Football Kingdom" on ps2 and see what is action and speed:D

No thanks on football kingdom m8 but i dont own a ps2 and im addicted to pes/we8 so i`ll let u bash on with that.:D

I think I got it. Vampire Lestat just likes more action packed arcade football games. I've noticed it on some other occasions with other people too. There are always ones who want it to be FAAASTER!!! no matter how fast it already is and ignoring that actual football game isn't that fast. Oh well, it's probably a matter of taste. PES4/WE7i is a bit to fast for mu liking. I even decreased all player's top speed by tventy in ProEdit. Now it's more like real thing although still a bit too trended towards ''fun and action'' in expence of realism. All this crazy running all the time, wing play too dominant, unlike WE7 game is not so awarding if you like to play slower buildup style like.

I have tried everything, and the only way you will get the game running good is by playing it on 60 hz..

Or by putting the quality settings down.
