Im sorry to say this, but your an idiot.
PC version of Fifa 2003, is way better then any console ... why ?? graphics are FAR superior to ANY console, no matter what you or anyone says PC has FAR superior graphics then any console (its a fact deal with it), PC users can upgrade and customize their Fifa 2003 to their liking ... consoles ?? nope ... and nope for a while, so before you say something stupid think about it.
(and if you want to compare PC to XBOX graphics ... Id love to show you the pics of my Fifa 2003 @ 1600x1200x32 6XAA 8XAF ... lmfao your console wont even come close :rockman:

Who cares though, you have to play it on a monitor, and have to sit at your computer. I'd prefer to play a game on my computer and lay on my couch. That's the only reason I prefer the PS2 version (though I have both).

Well, obviously you should hook it up because it's about 40 inches bigger? Seriously, dude.

Fair enough.

But like I said, beside the fact that my computer is getting older now, I just wanted to get the PS2 version because I have spent the past four years of my life playing games on this damned computer chair. ;)

yea, both are good ... just PC's have better graphics (top end ones) and consoles you can lay in bed and play ... so no need to hate on neither ;)

Yes, then again. I mean, would it really be worth it for certain people to spend 2,000 dollars to upgrade their computers just to play a game, when they can just get a PS2 to play games on it. I can't see myself upgrading just for one game, but once this 933 mhz computer is really out of date then I'll upgrade.

Naw man, 2,000 dollars ?? only uneducated people would spend 2,000 dollars.
I built my system for less then $550 and it will last me for ages
Athlon XP 1600 @ 2.2Ghz (overclocked)
Radeon 9700 Pro
120Gb Harddrive
and other good stuff like 48XCDRW and such :D

I know people who have done that as well, but seem to be less satisified with their systems.

PC gameplay sucks!

I don't care what you spent on your pc or what video card you have, yes the graphics are better but it(gameplay) is never as smooth on pc. My brother has a really nice system custom built for gaming but I am still not satisfied with the play. The only advantage I see for PC is the ability to play online. All I know is when EA makes FIFA online, it will be over for many of you!!!!!

My gameplay is as smooth as babys butt, I never lag, never skips .. nothing smooth as smooth comes, I average about 100+fps (1280x1024x32)

I go PC over XBOX, although, to get the best out of fifa for smoother gameplay, you'd have to spend more cash cpu/motherboard/good graphics card altogether to get the best out of fifa.

Athlon XP 1800+ 512 ram, my only let down is my graphics card, Geforce 2 mx :(

Which aint really smooth. but good enough, come on nvidia, give us your geforce fx :rockman:

I had GF4 Ti4600 before the Radeon, I used the Ti in my old system, since I built a new one, I took the Ti and exchanged it for the Radeon ... happy ??
Except the Radeon which, everything else is bought and wasnt taken from anywhere else.

My system is exactly as follows:
Athlon XP1600+ @ 2.2GHZ 60$
Radeon 9700 Pro
120GB Harddrive (60x2) 80x2 (MAXTOR)
48x24x48 TDK CDRW 50$ (after rebate)
19" Monitor 149.99 (SAMSUNG)
512MB DDR 59.99 (SAMSUNG)
Case 59.99 (ANTEC)
MB 79.99 (ASUS)

620$ for this kick ass system ... anymore doubts ??

No you don't - I have a meaty laptop with a 3D card and I ca play Fifa anywhere I please...on holiday, on my couch, connect it to my widescreen TV (via Video Cable), at my desk, in bed even on the toilet if I fancy!!!

Whereas you will always have to sit in front of ur TV with a PS2....
