Chapter 1 - New manager for Blackburn, first press conference Two weeks into July, Graeme Souness has caused upsets within the club, and the board of directors have decided a fresh approach. So they scan the UK shores, and come accross a certain 17 year old. Blefast born, Gareth Thomas, whose mothers second cousin, Johnny Berry played for Manchester United, unfortuantly died 6 weeks after the Munich air disaster. In his first press conference, Gareth Thomas offered the club a Golden era as long as he remained as gaffer. He promised the fans immediate success without expenditure. The press questioned Robert Coar on bringing an unexperience manager into the club. He revealed he had been scouting Gareth for 5 years for his local club Molesey FC, and how determined he was. The media thought otherwise, however, the fans loved Thomas' approached towards the club, present, and future of English football. Gareth preferred an attacking style of play, lot's of skill involved, and knocking the ball around, opening up gaps, then striking. He decided to use the AOA07UK tactic.
