sometimes i hear "incredible" whenever viduka or someone else gets the ball instead of their real names. The only "incredible" i know is danny incredible, who happens to play for some div 2/3 team. is this a bug?

furthermore, why are the names of players in div 3 recorded and announced during the game while premiership stars like jon stead miss out?

thirdly, ea should do the "its, Damien Duff", "now ryan giggs" etc. for all its star players. i wonder why van nistelrooy doesnt get this personalized commentary.

Worst thing is that they call my team an inconsistent team even though i've a record in the league of 23-0-0 (w-d-l) in 23 games and have not lost in cup competitions.

and to answer the original post, if u supported a lower league club, u want to hear their names pronounced just as much i guess thats why.

Yeah the commentry is annoying, somehow, i'm 24 games into the league and only 5 points clear on top, yet somehow the commentators mention consistantly things like "they're league champions anyway" etc... When i am no where near to having the league title wrapped up.

a good idea was to have a part inside the game where we could say the names and they get recorded for when they touch the ball... this is not a big thing for a company like EA, i think...

strange commentary

It´s full of innaccuracies, today I started Italian series A with a heavy rain and these guys saying "the first day....the sun is shining, etc. etc."
a player is outside the square area just moving the ball and they are hysterically screaming "There it is!!!!!!" and after losing the ball, total silence
One friend will pass me the spanish commentaries then we´ll see

It's ok i hear INCREDIABLE as well his trying to is " wow that's INCREDIABLE " U NO WHAT I MEAN YEAHH... Incrediable mean's wow that's good.:D :hump:

A real bug is when you play career mode and some of your players whos in use by the commentator quits and the new players that the game invents as replacements,
keep the other guys name even though his called something else. But Motson keeps shouting the resigned players name. When this new guy got the ball
That is a real bug.

for the record I think the guy youre thinking of is Danny Invincible , I may be wrong but i think he plays in Scotland

The commentary is good IMO but not near perfect. Namecalling is important.Remember 2003? They said "we r at Old Trafford the home of Man Utd ", "Here we r at the Bernabau stadium" etc...

What annoys me is that you can be playing your career and in your first match in the ECC, you could be losing and they'll say "the outcome of the match really doesn't matter because they're already through to the next round". Now THAT is quite stupid. How can you be through to the next round when you haven't got any points.

On a similar note, they will say things like "their victory here is purely academic, because they've already won the league". They'll say that and you will still have 10 games left and you are only 4 points clear at the top of the table. How can you have already won the league if you're 4 points clear with 10 games left?

It doesn't bother me that they don't say all of the popular players' names, because when Motson actually says them, he says them incorrectly.

I always laugh when he says Stelios Giannakopoulis' name. He plays for Bolton Wanderers in the EPL. You would think that the people at EA would tell Motson that he's saying it wrong, but then again...what does EA Canada know?
