Why does EA sports keep doing this? I mean they spent so much time hyping up a true soccer sim (fifa 2004) and yet they end up releasing this peice of crap. If i had money i would buy out their sorry arses and give the series to another game maker. I mean i prefer to play Fifa' 94 to this crap. What the hell is wrong with the menu screens? Why the **** is it so ugly? Why is it almost impossible to select an item on the screen? Was EA blind when they were testing out what they created? Why is it that when i play a game with York City and Bristol Rovers the game play feels exactly like Real Madrid against Liverpool? How come the commentators say exactly the same thing in every game day in day out? How come i can't delete saved files that i don't need anymore? How come the crowds don't move like they usually do in previous editions? Where is the freaking ref on the field when a game is being played? Why is it that almost every shove of a player is a foul? C'omon real life players are not that weak and gay. Why those the game play feel so scripted? Why is almost impossible to score in the AI's box 18? Who told ea sport that real soccer was having the ability to score 6 striaght hat-tricks from way out the box 18? Why the hell do corner kicks only have long crosses? How about short crosses? How can a team from the third division like York City defeat the great Real Mardrid? The only thing in this game that is worth saving is the online play and that't it. Who cares if Raul looks like Raul if he keep being outshined by a dude from nowwhere named
"Smith". The game play is just so terrible and becomes predictable. Am sorry to say this but EA so far as not relased any game to equal FIFA 98/99. Now those where the best of the series(my opinion). Listen i can keep on going and going but i won't. EA is not worth my $39 anymore. Hell let them come out with FIFA 2010, i am done. And that's that!!! (FIFA FAN since '94)

get one of the gameplay fixes (feel the game 1.03 is my favcourite) they fix a lot of the gameplay bugs, and make it feel much more realistic and ejoyable


for the ref and linesmen, you have to play on high quality (they are there in my game)

crowds do move, they still look fake, but not as cardboard as they were in 2003

McManaman, your only problem is the way you write to complain about the game. And really, complaining is not the solution. What we should do is to provide some clear and pertinent sugestions. Don't be agressive man, just look at that title "Stupid Fifa 2004".

That's why many people are not taking us seriously. I do agree with your complaints, believe me... but if we want to change something, let's do it the right way.

And you must remember that FIFA 2004 have improved a lot when compared to previous versions, regarding for example the Gameplay. So before being enraged about the game, let's take a look at some of the improvements... and it is ok if we do some (constructive) criticism about the other aspects of the game...

I shall be returning my copy for a FULL refund due to false advertising.

I guess you're too fed up with this game and I understand that. Let's hope someday FIFA will be the game we all want it to be. :(

After some weeks of playing im really enjoying the game...

what i enjopy most is how the AI marks ur players.. is very difficult to find spaces to go through. The REAL problem here is that we cannot, or is almost impossible, to dribble a defender at will with our skils. The FREESTYLE need to improve, and to add moves while running, like last year.

Anyways, after weeks of training, i think that the game needs some tunning in shots, passes, freestyle and some of the players motions to be real good. The man mark of the AI is very good.

dont know what to say to this. just agree with you Macmanaman1983. Dont see any difference playing against a third division club and Real Madrid or Juventus for that matter.
pass, pass, pass and shoot...hell.

there are no dribbles... or at least cool ones. or at least a few that WORKS well.

U like fifa 99 so much go in the older fifa titles forum game and talk about that..im sick and tired about hearing u cry babies talk about the game.......u don't wanna waste ur money??? download the demo and try it out.......all of u ppl make me sick to my stomach saying all other games are better...go and play all ur other games and stop bitching to us cuz we don't give a S**T!

btw, you CAN delete saved files...when u go to save/load in the options menu..click save and then when ur files come up u can save them or delete them...it's not that hard......don't like the gameplay? go shove ur finger up ur ass and cry!!!! cuz nobody wants to hear ur bitching anymore!!!!

I found an easy way to delete files such as career ones... If for example you are playing in a career and save it (after a match) when you open the "save" options you find a "not saved" near the file you are playing, and "saved" near the others. If you click on one of these "saved" you are able to delete them!
