Super Mario Strikers?

Played it today at EB for a half an hour. I seriously couldn't put the controller down, the game is that FUN! Now I kind of wish I hadn't sold my Gamecube. Has anyone played it yet?

Amen. Mario Tennis for the n64 was great. I also have Mario Golf for the Gamecube and it's incredibly fun.
I saw some videos of Mario Strikers and it looks like a fun game, the problem is that the lens in my gamecube is not working and even though the GCs are cheap right now I dont feel like buying a new one (I'm starting to save up for either a ps3 or revolution)

yeah I love Mario Golf on the GC, despite the cartoony imagery and stuff it's actually a really decent golf sim.

I'm gonna have to give Mario Strikers a renting and check it out

I bought it, I've been playing it.

It's great, anybody who has a gamecube needs to pick it up, loads of fun.

I love whipping in crosses. My only gripe about the game is that the power-ups aren't as useful as they could be. The game lacks some depth, too. But that's alright, this is a game Nintendo can really build on.

I've heard it's similar in some way to the mythical "World Cup" for the old NES. That game was bloody funny I loved the special moves and fire scissor kicks

rented it today from Blockbuster and I've been playing it for the past 2 hours, it's a simple game but loads of fun! I have the game for a full week, I should know after a few days if I think it's worth buying.. so far, so good though

I don't think the game is worth $50, maybe $40 at most. There isn't enough playability to warrant such a price.
