Superpatch Pitches

Hi im using superpatch and its great but id like to revert back and use the original PES5 pitches, can someone please tell me how to do this?thanks

The grass on Stadio Olimpico is really bad on the Superpatch, the only thing bad about the patch, everything else is superb.

Can I ask what graphics card your using because on my 6800 GT the new pitches look amazing , you can really see the detail. The old ones are badly coloured and dont you just love Konami's jagged turf.

Still each to his own.

The original KONAMI pitches look exactly like carpet. Strange to hear anyone could prefer them to the Superpatch ones.

Anyhow, to get the original pitches back, you must first restore your original 0_text.afs, then while installing the 0_text part of the Superpatch deselect the stadium files one by one. Or you can extract the pitch textures from the original afs with graphic studio and replace the Superpatch ones with these. I really don`t know which one of those options would be the simpler choice. Needs a lot of tinkering both ways.

I think one best and another stadium same turf (for example Ajax Stadium)

Fenkie your pitches are brilliant. However I can see why some would not like em. Stamford Bridge in winter for example is a little too extreame, and some others too.

It's always the same with Asmterdam Arena, Stadi olympico and Allianz Arana. They have a circle structure and it's hard to change this. I also don't like the new turff for this stadiums, so i changed it. Now i have no structure on the turff, not very realistic but for me it feels better during the game.

if you wanna have the original turff from konami, extract all files from the dvd and import them over the turff. do this with graphic studio, it's takes a long time for every stadium but it's the only way

Some superpatch pitches look really bad on "Medium" settings, which is the level many ppl use. I also had this impression after installing the patch. But the on the other hand, there are quite a lot superb pitches in the patch, which make the whole package worth it.

And Frenkie, on my PC, and on my settings, the Stadio Olimpico pitch doesn't look at all as good as the screenshot u just posted. As a matter of fact, I am so close to changing AC Milan's pitch (or is it Roma) because of how bad it looks on my PC.

So "tommymac" does have a point. Frenkie obviously made some pitches much better than the ones we see on our setting levels.

PS - I'm running the game on a 5200fx... yes the worst card ever, but it was also the only card in the country more than a year ago.

My point is, Konami may not make the best pitches ever... but as business men, they want their pitches to look averagely good on all levels of PC specs... (but that doesn't make much sense considering how good Fifa's pitches looked on my very same PC...)

Haven't tried Superpatch 2.0 yet, though.

I have 6600 GT and use Anti-Aliasing

I am running on Radeon 9600 Pro Medium 1024x768 no AA so far all the field look very nice except the Stadio Olimpico. The field make up with a lot of small squares that why is very hard to see and the pitch looks very dark because of that. Frenkie can u lighten up the color a bit and on medium is really not as nice as what in ur screenshot.

the pitches alright i guess, but that has nothing to do with the creators, its still a lot better than the original game, just the game itself doesnt have stunning graphics, I have a 7800 and run everything maxed out, but like i said, its the game itself, not the guys who made the fields.

It is an amazng patch,and im not being ungrateful cos im very glad that people put the time and effort in to make it,i just cant see why if someone prefers somthing a little different he suddenly gets slated for jus trying to enjoy the game as much as he can,i dont doubt the new turf technology and im trying to stick with it as some pitches do look great,so gd work frenkie.
