The high contrasted small squares of olympic give the impression of a "checker" or "chess" field and it makes some ppl dizzy including myself. I have a hard time concentrating on the ball on the field.

Also, when you look at the field from the free kick view, you can see that the furthest parts of some field when LOD (levef of detail) gets lower, looks like it has a different pattern (I'm using LOD mixer at 1,1,1,2,2)

I'm not very familiar of the picth textures but my guess is that the lowest detail images (128x128 or 64x64 ?) don't match with the updated turf giving the impression of a different pattern when the lower LOD mark is hit and the texture resolution gets lower. For example amsterdam arena (screenshot 1). You clearly see a different pattern at distance. A couple of others are like that as well, next time I spot them I'll post them.

One more thing...Wehn using AF (anistropic filtering) the turfs look even better. However, some nets seem to smooth out too much making them look like sheets. The second screenshot displays that. Some nets look ok though. If you could replace the messed up nets with the ones that work it would be higly appreciated

U know that's a brilliant idea. I'm surprised no-one came up with it before. Maybe.. maybe... their families have priorities other than updating the pc hardware to see better pitch turfs on a game.

And no-one was asking for any changes. Tommymac wanted to know how he could revert to the original turfs made by Konami.

FRENKIE turf and work is great no complain about that, we just wanna give some suggestion so he could make some small changes that could benefit most of the community. I believe most of people are running on MEDIUM setting, if u running below average which is LOW setting i dont think there is a right to complain but able to run HIGH setting plus AA and AF require expensive graphic card. Sad to say for example for my country fresh graduate get like RM1800.00 a month pay but a top end graphic card cost like RM2000.00. Other pitch have no issue it looks very nice even on MEDIUM setting. So it would really help if FRENKIE can just lighten up the pitch color for Stadio Olimpico or maybe make some changes to the pitch like other stadium. Just a suggestion anyway but no way i gonna revert back to KONAMI default pitch because all the new pitch are just SUPERB. Thx for all the work.

I don't understand why MEDIUM and low

my another pc i have geforce 4 TI 4600 and use HIGH (1024*768)
no anistropic filtering and antia-aliasing

And turf for example Ajax Stadium I think correct

sorry but i have not money.
im brazilian, poor, and this PC VIDEO CARD is the best i can get.

i think little changes could make big differences. some pitchs are much darks.

use HIGH no low resolution

and


I reccomended new Pes5 profile in driver

and color correction in profile

run pes5 and settings brightness and contrast

game graphic become more better

yeh they do, they certintly improve pitch quality and improve things elsewhere

Thanks a lot Frenkie, you see the grass isn't bad on Olimpico but the big problem is that the real Olimpico's pitch doesn't look anything like that.

Interesting.
Frenkie's pitches are always great, but I too think there's nothing better than the real original. It adds to the simulation feel of the game...

The Olimpico not possible another turf just simple plain or this square because original
circle turf. I not use this stadion Alpha but pattern in the turf.

and something else not possible because of this in vain I see original pictures
I can't edited because circle structure not in the alpha but elsewhere.

Why not understand?
