Switcher Evo 09 - Here you are THE switcher!

So, I'm explaining again what happened when I installed the switcher, so Outsider could get more info about that nasty error that ocurred. First - I installed the switcher (my OS is Vista 32bit, I have net framework more than v2.0 I think or at least, and I didn't have any other switcher installed). When I installed it, I did't run it, but first I paste the "fix" in the folder that contains Switcher evo folder, and then I opened the switcher. It started some regeneration. When regeneration has finished, then a "switcher is ready" message appeared, I checked the "auto" button and clicked "launch". FIFAMania intro has appeared, after it - a Krystian intro, and right after that - the error message, that I described a few posts before. That's all what happened. I didn't do any other regeneration, presuming that the switcher itself made it, when I launched it for a first time.Please, Outsider, what might be the problem?
And something else - What do you mean by saying - "fifa09.exe"? This executable file is needed to run the game after all. This file I have it in my FIFA main folder. Or you mean something else?

I just started a new career and took Barnsley to the Prem - (mostly simming games) but as soon as I was about to play my first friendly before starting the Prem, the game crashed. No idea why. Anyway, that gave me the idea that you guys should enable a "Prem" folder (probably do it for all upper leagues) so in the Championship I use the Championship font on my jersey - but when I'm promoted, I use the Prem font - and a new kit with the Prem badges, like you do for UCL/UEFA. That would be more useful since there are actually a lot of people who play Fifa and do not support the big 7 teams.

and do you have a png to fsh converter that works with vista?

When the program gives you the problem, the program is just making 2 things:
1) copying the files from its folder to FIFA folders
2) running "fifa09.exe".

So if you have fifa09.exe, there could be a problem of rights in the FIFA 09 folder. Try to click with the right mouse button on FIFA 09 folder and then, on property, see if you can put the rights to admin for read and write...

If, instead, after the logos video, the program doesn't crash immediately but, for example, you are able to see the "actual profile: NORMAL" written, I really think that the program is not able to run your fifa09.exe. I don't know why, btw...

Do you have an idea on how much code has been written to manage the UCL/Uefa switch? If we did the same for every league in the game, Krystian would put other 2 months to finish it

However mate, for an experienced editer like you, there is an easy way: just replace the "UEFA" configuration with the "Premier League" configuration inserting in "UEFA" folder the files you want to switch and deleting the others. In this way, when you get promoted, you can change with F7 your team graphics. You can make the same if you want to distinguish between Premier and FA Cup (this time is more sensed!!!)
Finally I sincerely think that you can do it without a switcher. You can simply close the game, open CM and import kits with new badge, open the game and enjoy. Indeed then you will play only in Premier League so there is no need for a switcher that can come also back to the previous configuration...it's more useful if you use it with FA Cup because you have a match from time to time and so it's good to come back to original configuration and then switch it to FA Cup when you need. Of course all this without auto function

About crash I have not understood if that was your first played match... And with the switcher or not?

About crowds I don't suggest you inserting them because they are lot of files (if you insert all they are 100 Mb of files) and the switching process would become very very long.

You know, this switcher has the great advantage that does not make your game slower like MonkeyDragon one does. However you have to wait a bit for the switching of all things...

About png converter, use fshed with png plugin

Then I have a question... As you made it possible to add intro hymns, is it also possible to do this for clubs, like already has been done by EA for the national teams. Thanks in advance for the answer.

The hymn is playing not because of a EA SPORTS process, but it is simply a wav played in the right moment. You can find the wav called himn.wav in the UCL and UEFA folder. If you want you can substitute it with your hymn, your song, etc

No man. I'm sure. If you put the t231 file of "inNORMAL" folder into the "UCL" folder (not "inUCL" folder, "UCL" folder!!!) the thing has to work because the program will take the new file... When you use this switcher, MD's Graphics switcher doesn't work anymore, like scoreboards, untucked kits etc. only the popups work. But when you play Fifa without this switcher, everything works as it supposed to.
Maybe it's an idea to change the normal-mode in the switcher so that it plays fifa without any changes. I don't know if it's possible, I'm not the expert, but you are!!

But I really like the manual switching, it works like a charm!!

Fabio , do you think is possible to have 5/6 choice for manual switching (like F5-F6 etc) to have for example (Serie A,Serie B,Coppa Italia,Champions,Coppa Uefa and so on) without read the career?Will be easy to do that.In every mode i can press F8 to have Coppa Italia mode...

hmmmm... I use the same function for running video and fifa. In every case the targhet process must have "FIFA09.exe" name's (not fifa09.exe)

Maybe it is a problem of rights, but if you don't solve tell me and I'll prepare a version with some changing for your case...
I hope we get solution.
