Reports are stating that Chelsea are going to make an offer for Aaron Lennon by offering Tottenham Shaun Wright-Phillips + incentives. I've never seen Lennon play, or at least, never noticed him during a match, so I don't feel like I should give my opinion about this exchange. But I've always thought SWP was rather underrated, and when he plays he's a solid 7/8, in my eyes. At least what 've seen of him.

Do you think Lennon is good enough to replace SWP, or better? If so, why? And do you think SWP and Lennon would fit in each other's teams?

Do you think this transfer would be beneficial for either team?

no this isnt good for anybody really except SWP,,,,Lennon is a better player then SWP and still can improve,,,this move wont happen he will just end up like SWP

Lennon isone of the brightest talents england have and dont want him rottening on the chelsea bench,,rather have him play week in week out at spurs or a a higher place team eg liverpool united or arsenal,,,England wont want this move either

Chelsea bought SWP specifically to prevent Arsenal from doing so. They never had any intentions of playing him.

well, i think its a good move for every one except lennon, i dont see him starting at chelsea any more then SWP.

i dont se the point of having 4 wingers when they dont play with any of them, thats just plain stupidity.

Swp would do fine at tottenham, and lennon could do well at chelsea but i dont see him getting the playing time he needs or wants.

don't think he'd fit at Arsenal anyway, most of his game is based on pace, he wouldn't fit a passing/technique based team.

He has difficulty fitting at Chelsea already and Chelsea are more suited to his game than Arsenal.

He's great for midtable teams not top class sides.

I always laugh at SWP. Got what he had coming for following the money. I'm glad Lennon's getting better than him.

Lennon is not good enough to sit on the chelsea bench.

What I think would happen is that Chelsea will let SWP go an buy Anderson from Porto. He is better, Bigger, more skillful and most importantly, younger!

My thoughts are Lennon will finish the season at Tottenham, then move to Utd. I hope SWP doesn't leave, but if he does, I think he'll probably go to Tottenham during the Jan window, a reason for Tottenham to allow Lennon to leave.

What's everyone's beef with Chelsea, anyways? Quit the hostility, SWP is a good player at Chelsea, and IMO better than he was at City. As are most players in the Chelsea squad.

Parker? Kezman? Smertin? Jarosik? Glen Johnson? Crespo? Tiago?
