bcoz he's a overhyped , good for nothing player who lives a moviestar lifestyle and gets undue credit for nothing........
He does not deserve even half of what he gets.......
Look at Effenberg for example.....100 times a better player than Beckham but has never even come close popularity-wise !!

On ITV teletext on page 488 a few days ago they had a vote on who was better: Beckham or Giggs. Giggs got 55%. I couldn't agee more with that poll.

But you will always get the typical so called football fan who says "Beckhams more famous, therefore he is better". So if those people were excluded it would probably be about 99%.
