Tactics/formations

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help me has anyone got any tips or suggstions for a top draw formation

my mate said that formations for championship manager 03-04 can be downloaded from the net but i am not sure where?

first of all, play with 4 defenders on a line. It really works good. two wingers from LM/RM with arrows to AML/R.

Two central mids (you can do what you want, 2 on a line, 2 defensive, 1 attacking and 1 defensive etc.)

And two strikers (one forward and one striker works best)

I play like this:

--DR-------DC-----------DC-------DL--

------------------DMC--------------------

--MR--------------MC--------------ML--

----------SC------------SC--------------

MR/and ML arrow to AMR/L

Just what i've been playing with, worked well for me, won the english first division and then 7th in the Prem.

yeah, some tactics work for me, but not for others. IMO there are no perfect tactics. That's why I don't download them

It Depends on What Players u have as well if you have a good DM you can afford to have some very attacking formations

there are no more SUPER tactics on CM4 or 0304. They went after the wibble/wobble screens went

But still, without the wibble/wobble screens the tactics engine lacks quality...

i completly agree, its not in depth enough. Because of this you can no longer create a tactic that will beat everyone.

You know you're getting old when people start asking questions like that.

The WB/WOB screens are the way of perfectioning player positions depending on ball position, and which team has possession of the ball. It was taken out of the game in CM4, because of difficulties with the new 2D engine.
