Why did you think deathproof was so good? I mean I thought it was cool but Planet terror was much better.

Planet Terror is just silly fun, nothing more nothing less. Deathproof is more complex plus better script, better acting, better story.

Help?

Yeah, the one really good thing about this is the star-studded lineup of hot chicks.

watched Robert's part so far and I really liked it. Planet Terror is funny, gory and very geeky in a great way. loved lots of big name actors and known low budget horror actors from the old days come out of nowhere as zombies or secondary characters only to get killed :p

I also watched the fake trailers, Rob Zombie's Werewolf Women of the SS is just awesome. would love to see that made into a real movie. And Eli Roth's Thanksgiving is pretty great too but the best of the bunch was the last one. I couldnt stop laughing... DON'T!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Just watched the movie. Planet Terror was disgusting, i mean a guy collecting balls? The story wasn't bad, but i think it was overhyped and some things were just "what the ****"?
Deathproof was better i thought, not as many retarded things in there, the storyline was better in Planet Terror than here, but the chicks in the movie and the car chase made it better.

Overall, i thought it was overhyped and i am not surprised that its not doing so good in the box office.

I loved Grindhouse. I personally like Planet Terror more that Deathproof, because I think Rodriguez really nailed the B-movie concept. Plus there was too much mindless chatter in Deathproof. Although, I must say the car chase scenes were incredible.

DON'T miss this movie!

Planet Terror was excellent!!! Death Proof was more of a bull**** and there wasn't much in it. I am disappointed in Tarantino.

Saw Planet Terror last night, the other half of Grindhouse. It's no where near as good as Death Proof, much more run of the mill, but still pretty damn entertaining and an awesome compliment to it.

But yeah, the action was deliciously over the top, as was the gore, and the aspects that were meant to be funny definately were. The exposure of the reels and general deliberate destruction worked once again, though was much more obvious and heavy handed than in Death Proof. The big difference between the two movies is purely the superior talent of Tarantino, his had the amazing dialogues, amazing soundtrack and amazing orginality which Rodriguez was not capable of mustering. Also, the Tarantino cameo in Death Proof was much better than that in Planet Terror.

I also loved the fake trailer at the beginning for "Machete".

I now sincerely hope there will be a DVD release, so i can see them in their original form, back to back, with the fake trailers all back in. That would be amazing.

Wow, I just saw PT last night too! Really entertaining, tons of action and ofcourse it reminded me of "From Dusk Til Dawn". Ungodly amounts of gore and just nasty **** you never even think about. I'm looking forward to catching DP sometime soon. I read somewhere that "Machete" was going to be turned into a feature film!

DP was an awesome film. I liked it a tad better than PT. Everyone was saying that the dialogue was too much or lasted too long but not only is that typical for QT it was also pulled off to near perfection. Some of those scenes were done in a single shot, which is amazing for any actor/director team to pull off.
