the thing with tattoos is that there are so many that got one that it is hard to find something original.

and I belive if one is to get at tattoo, it should be because it has a meaning, religious or something else that's important to he/she who gets it.
getting a tattoo just to get one is lame.

That's why you should draw or make one up for yourself instead of picking a design/figure from a catalog, or the one's they have plastered on the wall.

What would really be cool is to get a tat of your club's mascot. I saw this great drawing of Ajax(the greek warrior) with his bloody sword in the air and the Amsterdam coat of arms on his sheild. If I were to ever get one(i wont) that would be it.

I was thinking of getting the Liverpool crest. The only problem is that the "hooligan" image that comes with it, if I go on holiday and take my shirt off, I know I would get so many looks from people who think I would attack them when football comes into the equation.

Its nothing to do with trends, I've been drawing dragons since I was about 5, my mother tells me the first thing I drew was a dragon and I've got a great ambition to visit japan one day so that explains the writing for it, which will be my name.

Its a Phoenix. (I had been looking for a good design and finally found this on Devart)

Its my first tattoo and it wasn't as painful as I expected it to be. Now im not scared of needles and i can tolerate quite a lot of pain ...even so i don't think any of you would find the pain unbearable.

I like the tribal designs, different types of crosses, etc. but I don't want it to be so corny. But I won't be getting one at least for the next few months so I have time to look for something I like.

Tribals are cool, but there are like 100,000,000 people out there with tribal tatoos, and if you are looking to stand out you should try something you came up with. Get down your ideas of what you want and get someone you know that are good at drawing, or a tattooartist to make you a one-of-a-kind.
