It's funny you're saying this Nick...as you said for yourself, you were one of the few actually supporting the gameplay of this years version. I remember you were one of the first who got it on gamecube (or was it the x-box?) and were amazed by the feel of the team it gave you. Manchester played the way the real one did and so on....

so yea the game turned out to have a few bugs here and there.. but didn't EA at least make an effort and are really concerned about making a decent game? i say they're going on the right track... in return we should at least show a little support to encourage them to go ahead and make better games for the future...

Well, that's my words spoken out of your mouth....I feel it the same way, but trying to tell people about this is senseless, for they'll only ask for backup, constantly, and nothing is good enough...I mean, if you are negative, and actually don't want to understand things, then it's senseless to debate it....
Still, I think that Konami should carry on making few teams and concentrate on the gameplay. Maybe they could get some licenses, but I don't need those 16 leagues and 350 teams. All I play is Serie A with Juventus, and no more. Maybe the champions league, or international matches with Italy, but no more then that. It's a waste! Nobody uses all those teams!

In addition to all this, I would like to say, that after looking at the video of ISS 3, the game looks much more mechanical than Fifa. The players make sharp corners without stopping, and their movement on the pitch doesn't look realistic at all! That's only what I mean

You are sorely mistaken if you think this is some revolutionary step from Konami.

I hated the Fifa games from the start, but I played Fifa2003 more times than im ever gonna play this(about twice)

Konami has turned in to EA.

Can the original poster of this topic please reply and tell me exactly why he recommend I buy this game?????

Dude, I don't recommend you buy the game at all anymore. The game sucked big time.

You're better off playing WE2002/PES2 on the ePSXe emulator than buying this piece of crap. It's nothing like WE6 which was what it was supposed to be similar too. Instead, the other part of Konami (ISS3 is made by a totally different branch) released a pile of crap.

Sorry for the original proposal to buy the game. I take it back.

EA deserve to be bagged for their constant ignorance to their customer. When people wanted a decent gameplay for FIFA 2003, what do they got ? A dissability to head the ball on our own will, GKs that punch harder than Lenox Lewis but kick weaker than my 70 year old grandma, defenders that runs away from CPU opposition ( as if they were scared or something ), etc. Sure, fanboys will come and say "All games have bugs, give EA a break", well there`s too many bugs in one game to tolerate.

I expect a gameplay improvement for FIFA 2004, I posted in the wishlist thread, and I read many people did to, they just want to be able to head the freakin` ball, screw the f`n graphics and stuff, better people from the community can edit them, and what do we got ? Yeah, read my signature, the "INDIVIDUAL TEETH" is comin` as a "GREAT BRAND NEW IMPROVEMENT" in EA`s term of football reality . . . I predict FIFA 2005 will then bring the revolutionary "Customizable nail length" for fingers and toes. I was only jokin` when I predict EA will give the individual player`s teeth feature for FIFA 2004, when it did come true, I don`t know wheter to laugh, or feel sorry for EA`s stupidity.

Don't blame Konami as a whole for ISS3 on the PC being so shambolic.

There's a significant difference in the quality of games made by KCET (who do PES) to those made by KCEO (who are rubbish and make ISS)...

A guy told me in the FIFA 2004 forum that he read EA confirm that in the FIFA 2004 live chat with SG.

Heh yeah EA - very ATD when it comes to players' looks and graphics, but they don't give a monkey's elbow on gameplay...
