Teach me how to defend a corner!!!

Sorry...for me being so angry...

I just wanna learn to defend the Euro04 farking corners!!!

Coz...just now I was playning an online match.... and I played against a rank 1700++ opponents....(my rank only 1500).....

The final scores read 2-1.....the opponent won..... what made me mad was that both goals are from the corners!!!! and this isn't the 1st time I lost on corners......

at 1st...he scored 1st in the 1st half...then I equalise just mins before half-time...I was very happy....and confident already.....and I managed to create attacks after attacks in the 2nd half.....dull to my lousy and sucks finishing...I could score another one..... now...full-time already....1-1....
start of extra-time....sliver goal.... in the 1st extra time...I lost already..coz he stroke a corner to kill me off again!!!

sigh......feeling sad and angry at the same time.... the only thing that makes me happy...is that me, a newbie can hold a ratings with 1700++ for full 90min....

so.....can anyone teach me how to defend a corner???espcially those always near the goal pole one......

hmm. u must block the way he heading to. try pressing "D" alot of time to block him to prevent him from getting the cross.

use both analong sticks to push them out of the way.

erh...I am using keyboards....

push them out??? wtf... but sometimes I push already...and they still can head....

confirm bo? I tried this matter alot of times liao...seem like not working....

Basically, if it's a corner where the recipient of the kick is running towards the goal, you have to get in his way and check him with your defender. If its the stationary one, you have to keep pushing him. But, don't push the guy too much or else he will get even more open. I start to push when there are one or two ticks left on that little red clock on the bottom of the screen and it works pretty well.
