Why is the Team Management so bad in Fifa 2004? In any pre-match situation, you just can't swap players properly - it either tries to give you more players in your team, or gives you less than eleven, filling the gaps with players you don't want.
I'm using creation centre, and found that the only way to get the team selection I want is to change the default management using that; I simply can't do it ingame. However, today I tried to do a career for the first time, had two of my players injured in the first game, and found it impossible to switch them out for the second! This renders the game completely unplayable in this mode!
What I don't understand is that player swapping works fine in the middle of a match. But as you're only allowed three substitutions - and you can't get to your reserves - it's next to useless, so you can't switch things around immediately after kickoff. Why doesn't it work? This has made a game I've paid good money for completely unplayable in anything but friendly mode.
