Of course this is not definitive and I'm not trying to say these players are the best of the world. It's just an early impression of which players are doing well so far. Considering the first round, the team of the world cup...

GK- Sylvia(Senegal)
RB- Arce(Paraguay)
CB- Nesta(Italy)
CB- Canavarro(Italy)
LB- Sorín(Argentina)
DH- Gilberto Silva(Brasil)
DH- Verón(Argentina)
OH- Ballack(Germany)
OH- Totti(Italy)
CF- Ronaldo(Brazil)
CF- Vieri(Italy)

Youth Team
take Ballack out of there, put Kahn in the goal. Take all the Italian players out. Italy barely made it to the next round. Put Tomasson (sprelling) and Klose up top. Robbie Keane deservs to be there too. It seems like you put the best known players in your list. You don't have any Korean players on your list :monkey: :monkey:

LuckyLuke

Youth Team
I think it is;

GK- Rustu (with the saves on the Brasil match... We all know Kahn is a world-class player but he did nothing special in this round)

and LW or LF- Hasan Sas.. He is one of the most impressive players in this world cup.. (with Klause and Ronaldo)

What about Jon Dahl Tomasson and Thomas Sørensen from Denmark, and where is Inamoto from Japan. Thomas Sørensen has been the best goalkeeper so far. I think. :D

...
you can't say that man !
sure France really sucked during the tournament .... but Lizarazu played well ... he's a great player who always gives 100%
it was on the right that france had probs.
Liza shouldn't even be considered as a flop

Reserve Team
How can you pick Argentine players when they didn't even score any goals in open play, only that penalty where Crespo was virtually in the net before it was taken.

Its seems to me people are just picking the well known players, not basing it on the actual perfromances so far. How can people pick Nesta??? Cannavaro????, they have been good in patches but not the best of the tournament so far.

England have the best defensive record so far in the tournament with only one goal conceded, which was a total mistake, and nowone picks any of the English Defenders?? for me Rio Ferdinand has beenthe best defender of the tournament so far, and he is only 23. Alongside with the rest of the England defence.

Anyway here is my team:

GK: Brad Fredel(USA, definetly the best keeper so far)
LB: As.Cole(defensively he has been great)
CB: Rio Ferdinand
CB: Gary Breen(Ireland)
RB: Cafu
LW: Hasan Sas(Turkey)
CM: Inamoto(Japan)
CM: Torrado(Mexixo, plays for Sevillia in Spain)
RW: Basturk(Turkey)
CF: Klose
CF: John Dhal Tommason
