Team of the Years---Arsenal or Valencia or Porto or Monaco

I was just wondering, out of these four teams, which had by far the best season?

Personally, i feel that Valencia are the team of the year. The won the double(UEFA cup and Spanish league)

Arsenal had an unbeaten season, but they only won one trophy.

If porto had won the treble i would go for them, but we lost the cup final, so the best we can do is a double, which is great but Valencia won the Spanish league and we won the Portuguese league. BIG difference.

Therefore, it's Valencia for me!!

what's expected from a Porto fan. I never disrespected Milan.

I chose these teams based on the European Sucess and in Arsenal's case their milestone.

Milan is great team, don't get me wrong.

There wouldn't be any point mate because Arsenal won the league, like Milan did, but Arsenal would definitely get the vote over Milan for going unbeaten in the league.

Anyway, I think we could've waited till after Champions League final, it would've been easier. But whoever wins the Champions League final will get my vote.

I just remembered, Milan won the European Super Cup.

the epl is a much easier league to dominate than the serie A and La Liga. I take Arsenals unbeaten run more of an insult to the EPL than a compliment. How could nobody beat them when they were at their worst team morale (after getting knocked out of CL. and Henrys form beginning to dip)

i wouldnt have voted for Milan, but they at least deserved a mention. Last year, Milan were clearly the best, this year its not as clear, but id have to vote Valencia.(Y)

Arsenal is alway **** in europe, so they are kind of used to it, especially after they didn't get past the second round in the last 2 years.

Milan dont deserve a mention. They lost in the CL quarter finals after being up 4-1 in the first leg.:rolleyes: Also Arsenal had to compete with much more than Milan. The only big problems for Milan were Juventus and Roma. Milan won the league by an 11 point margin. Arsenal won theirs by 11 and your saying that Serie A is much harder than the Premiership.:o

Serie A has 5 teams that could realistically win it all. England has 3. And games against Inter(how did you not include this????), Lazio, Parma and even Udinese are all very difficult.

Take a look. Mostly every team in the premiership are hard to play. Also You actually think Inter or Parma could win it all??
Then I could just say that Liverpool or Newcastle could win the premiership too. I thought you were talking realistic too.

when did i say Parma could? i said theyre a tough opponent, which they are. In the last 5 years, Lazio, Roma, Juve and Milan have all won the serie A, with Inter finishing second, and literally one win away from clinching scudetto. But, out of respect to the other clubs, ill relax, just thought milan deserve at least a mention.

Porto gets my vote, for reaching two cup finals, and winning their league. :)

As for the EPL being weak, there are five teams that have the potential to win it, and even teams in the bottom half have a chance to win against the three "good" teams in the league. If I remember right, Wolves and Pompey beat Man Utd, and Leicester gave Arsenal a scare, and I'm sure that Chelsea had some games like those, I just don't remember.

I nearly put Arsenal, but then decided with Valencia .. winning La Liga is a big accomplishment, and they won more silverware overall, so I went with them.
