Teams named after people

Bobby

The Legend
I'm bored. Most teams are named after towns or neighborhoods, but some are named after people. Name some (towns named after people don't count!).

St. Johnstone (Perth, Scotland)
O'Higgins (Rancagua, Chile)
Vasco de Gama (more than one)
Newell's Old Boys (Rosario, Argentina)
Presidente Hayes (Asuncion, Paraguay)
Carl Zeiss Jena (Germany) -- This is a stretch.
St. Mirren (Paisley, Scotland)
Kirkintilloch Rob Roy (Scotland)
St. Patrick's Athletic (Dublin, Ireland)

Of course there's Jomo Cosmos and Kaiser Chiefs in South Africa named for their founders and their respective NASL clubs.

Name some more.

Keirrison (wow what happened to him) who was named after Keith Richards and John Morrison has a team named after him called CFK9.

Mohammed Kallon had Kallon FC who he played for too.

Charlinhoo

Club Supporter
Ajax (Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Named after the greek mythical hero in the trojan war)
Willem II (Tilburg, the Netherlands. Named after the Dutch king who lived in Tilburg)
O'Higgings (Rancagua, Chile. Club is named after the chilean liberal hero Bernardo O'Higgings
Hercules (Alicante, Spain. Greek Mythology hero)
Gil Vicente (Barcelos, Portugal. Named after a playwright/poet)

And I think there were more in the Greece League named after greek legends.

Guillermo Brown in Argentina (I made a joke about them once in my Huracan FM thread), José Gálvez and Juan Aurich in Peru. There's lots of them in South America if you browse through the lower leagues.

You're right about that. Here are some examples from my recent FIFAM 10 editing in CONMEBOL (I've had to research those countries :) ):

Arauco Prado (Bolivia)
Teodoro Gomez (Ecuador)
Fernando de la Mora (Paraguay)
