@ regularcat> thanks for willing to help. Do inform me later on to tell me what that we can do to try and make this happens.
@ Keegan> thanks for the support and info bout the laces. But, the real purpose for this editing is to insert a tga file as the bump. Not creating new boot model.
Its pretty similar to the new jersey build when it is first introduce in FIFA09 where the kits doesn't have to be made with wrinkles, all kit makers have to make is simply a clean jersey drawing and leave the wrinkles to a specific tga file.
This tga files later gave the wrinkles effect that react to lighting system nicely which gave illusion of we actually have an actual 3d wrinkles compared to the previous wrinkles kits such as in FIFA08 where the wrinkles doesn't react to the light.
For those who doesn't understand the concept yet, here is a simple explanation which hope to clear your mind what we trying to make.
We just applying the same concept that have been use in kit model to boot model, which mean if the concept can be done you will be provided with 2 kind of texture to be put inside the zdata. 1st is the clean drawing (such as Midway drawing style boot texture) and 2nd texture will be a tga file which will function as bump texture (it will gave depth and emboss to the boot ingame). By doing so, you will see the boot appear more emboss and have its own high and low contour according to each design. Its also pretty similar to PES boot texture method (check any PES editing site to know more).
Hope this explain everything to you. Maybe I'll post some screen and images soon to make this explanation clear. Any suggestion and question will be most welcome.
P/S: I really hope we can make this one happens. Cause, if it does, our FIFA PC version will surely take a next step of becoming more NG.
