Forget the "just to play sports part." The State of Mississippi certainly doesn't have enough 100+ IQ persons to fill up both Ole Miss AND Mississippi State. Arkansas and Louisiana suck too.

Thanks for sh*tting on your own conference. At least when BC joins, they'll play by the book. Sure, we'll become Vanderbilt II, but at least we will have our pride and academic integrity in tact.

Yeah dude, that post was slamming the SEC and it was pretty obvious. If you couldn't have gotten it from his post, my follow up should have clarified it beyond confusion.

It could have worked for the ACC too. Just look at Free Shoes University if you want evidence. Not to mention the felons that have played for Miami over the years.

Yeah, but Miami was always Big East, and FSU isn't exactly your typical ACC school. Schools like UNC, Duke, Maryland, and Virginia in my memory have always been some of the cleanest programs around with high academic standards. Of course, I don't remember Lefty's years in Maryland, so whatever.
