Texas!?!?!?!?!? **** that, cancel the Rose Bowl. Texas needed a last second prayer to beat Kansas (a worse team than Southern Miss), while Cal pulled away from Southern Miss in the final quarter. Rose Bowl is Big Ten vs. Pac Ten. Cancel it and play the game somewhere else.

Yeah, true. I remember when Washington St. played OU there a couple of years ago. Even though I hate Cal, they deserved to be in a BCS game, they had a damn good season.

Michigan and VA Tech won their conferences, therefore allowing them to play BCS bowl games.

Yeah, true. If there were to be a playoff, they should take the top 8 teams from the AP Poll and have them battle it out for the title.

We don't deserve anything after our last two games. We shouldn't even be playing on January 1st.

Adrian Peterson should have won. Jason White's stats were better than Leinart's, his team played a harder schedule, and they both finished undefeated. Leinart didn't deserve the award ahead of Jason White, who wasn't even the MVP or best player on his team. Adrian Peterson won the ****in rushing title for gods sake!!

The fact that Leinart played behind a rebuilt O-line, had receivers with little to no experience and still put up solid numbers played a big role in him winning. His game against Notre Dame was big as well. Adrian Peterson should have won though, he's the reason OU is playing in the Orange Bowl.

Leinart deserved to win....especially after his top two wide recievers were gone this season (Kolbert, Williams)....and had to throw all year to unexperience WR's who he had to get accustomed to. good point also about the rebuilt O-line....Adrian Peterson has next year to win it...if he doesnt go for the money:confused:

...Congrats to Leinart and good luck to USC(Y)
btw...my pick for next years Heisman (IF peterson goes PRO)............drumroll..........CHRIS LEAK!:crazyboy:

Yep. Peterson, Bush, and Leinart (should he stay for his senior year like he said he would) are the frontrunners for next year's award.

Leinart won't stay, he's accomplished everything at this level and an injury could end his professional career before it starts. Let's just say he'd be the biggest retard in the history of civilization if he came back next year.

Peterson will be able to go pro because I feel that if the Clarett case is still being appealed Maurice will eventually win. What's funny is that Adrian Peterson almost entered the draft after the initial Clarett decision; right after high school. And the funny thing is that he might have actually been successful. The running back position is the easiest for players to transition to when they enter the pro game.
