For the Swans fans, there is a Sydney Swans 2003 season review DVD out now. A must for any Swans fan really. Some good highlights of most games this year, especially the Port Qualifying final.

that game was a ripper!

I wasn't really into the afl last season. It was like "oh yeah so it's on is it? How is North going?" No enthusiasm. Probably the same this season. There are rippers of games but they don't get me excited. I dunno what has happened!

we still go on about 1990. and our 4 premierships in a row.

collingwood fans are always goin back in the past:mrpimp:

Lol they have to go back to the past way back.

2 Grand Final Losses in a row,

Will they be able to do there own Three-Peat next year? Hopefully they dont even make it that far.

They will make it 3 in a row and lose to Essendon in the Final.

James Hird will show why he is the best player in the AFL. Simple as that.

If Hird can stay fit all year Rob :p

Watch the Swans, i hope we can repeat what we did last year. Although teams will be kind of expecting us to play well. Unlike last year.

this season is make or break for the pies, with buckley now ageing and our seemingly young side growing up, it will probably be the last chance to prove we're not chokers

Yea, Hird is the best when he stays fit, look where he finished in this years Brownlow, and the amount of games he missed.

Collingwood fans all to remember how good Hird is when he is fit and takes control of a game.

Yeah,

Hird missed something like 5 matches yet only missed out on the brownlow by 3 votes or something. There is no doubt he would have thrashed them if he was fully fit through the whole season. Hird tears apart Collingwood when we play them and Buckley the receiver just receives but too little affect.

Buckley is such a soft player. Did anyone watch the Grand Final in 2003 that I did?

Michael Voss with an injured knee was at the bottom of every pack, while Buckley is around the pack waiting for every ball to be passed to him. Look at how Buckley is built, he should be under the bottom, yet poor old James Hird thinks his Hulk Hogan and injures himself every time.

thats how buckley plays week in, week out:kader: :f***: :kader: :f***:
hes never under the packs, he just waits for others to get the ball from the pack and then he gets the kick from the pack:kader:

Collingwood supporters calling Hird and panzy pisses me off, because he is one of the most courages players in the AFL, esp when Collingwood have Buckley right under there noes to call a panzy.

Supporters have no right to call Hird a panzy, after what he has been through. They are jealous, like me, because they dont have such a champion under the packs week in week out constantly putting his already battered body on the line.

I know Buckleys rarely the man who does the dirty work for the team, but when you've got the likes of Scotty Burns, Licuria, O'bree and even Lockyer coming back from injury, you dont need him under the packs. The team needs a person who can pinpoint a 50 meter pass under pressure and follow it up to be in the next contest. Thats Buckleys role given by Malthouse, and Buckley does a fine job of it.
