[Essendon BFC]

The backward pass rule isnt that bad but I complete agree with WBFC on the 9 point rule and dont want it to be included. I agree teams that usually finish around 8th will win it. Essendon wont win it because they always put like a VFL team on the field and get thrashed. The only time they put an actual good team on was 2000 and they won it a long with the grand final.

I completely agree with you, WBFC. The 9 point rule WOULD kill the traditional full forward. I miss the days when i'd go to the G to watch Sav Rocca and you could almost guarentee he would kick more then 5 goals. These days, the goals are being spread around the midfielders and even the running half back flankers eg..Ryan Lonie and Rohan Smith, Sure, some of these goals are gems, but I prefer the one player that produces something special INSIDE the 50 meter line.

Im sure it didnt matter much as we absolutley thrashed Melbourne in the Grand Final. The team that year was the best Team ever in a Year!

I can see us winning all 22 matches this year. Starting with a 12 goal win over Port Adelaide.

I dont see Port Adelaide being as strong a team as they were the last 2 years, they will still be reasonably good. Highly doubt they will finish 1st again tho.

I tipped Hawthorn top 4 too.

I cant wait till the season gets underway. Who does everyone play for here? I played for East Malvern last year but this year im going to play for either Tally Ho or Prahran. What about everyone else?

How do you think Hawthorn is going to come in the top 4?

They picked up Jacobs and Croad (Hack) I dont think much is going to improve for them. They will be 8-11.

They were unlucky to miss out on the eight last year, and they seemed compititive in every match. They are still a young team although they will definitily feel the loss of Jade Rawlings. Schwab is a good coach who gets the most out of his chargers, and the spirit seems to be good down at Glenferrie Oval.

Well they have aquired some good players and if they can get over their slow starts you never know what can happen. I think they have a strong squad none the less.

Croad is no good. Jacobs is good but he has no heart. I dont think much is going to improve for them.
