This Diaby kid better be taking his vitamins and drinking his milk or else Arsenal's midfield will still get dominated.

At least we'll have a world-class team around 2012... But signing Diaby and Walcott will not help in the near future.

go to bbcnews.com, it says arsenal are ready to pay 15m pounds for 16-year old theo walcott. honestly, if you have 15m pounds to spend, toss another 5m in and then buy an established international, not a 16-year old. yes, by 2012, arsenal might be a great team, but that is assuming that all your teenagers don't leave before then.

if i was henry, i'd be extremely annoyed at the types of players that were being looked at to strenghten the squad.

I agree, 16 to 20 year olds can't bring back the team to the top (unless you are Rooney or Messi), Fabregas is a huge talent, but he isn't capable of dominating in midfield (yet). I think Diaby won't make a lot of difference. And what happened to Alexander Song, wasn't he the 'next Vieira'? And being ready to pay 15 mln for a 16 year old isn't smart, just increase the amount to 20 mln and you have a great midfielder who can carry the team. And it isn't a garantee that all the talents will turn out well or they will continue their careers elsewhere.

If I am not mistaken Henry wanted Arsenal to bring in big name signings, or atleast established players. I don't think he is going to wait for the youngsters to become 25 years old. A few weeks ago Bergkamp said in an interview that he isn't waiting for the youngsters to become adults, because he wanted his last year to be a good year,

i doubt we'll buy anyone big this jan. it kind off useless anyways...we've already lost the premiership and the 'top class' player won't leave his club until summer because of the champions league and even if he does he won't play in the cl.

i personally wouln't mind if someone comes in though (6)

Landing Adebayor would be pretty sweet, even though he's only 21 he has quite some experience at the top level. Not bad, not bad.

He's also 6'6" which would give us some much needed height in the box. Allowing Henry to do his thing instead of trying to be a target man.

ya and Adebayor too let see what they can do and i agree that 15 mil is too much for walcott and we should try and get some big name in summer or maybe now isnt bad
