Francesco Totti has denied recent speculation linking him to Milan, stating that he will not be joining any other Italian club for respect of the Roma fans, however he still left a door open for a possible overseas transfer, in particular to Real Madrid.

The giallorossi captain declared: "I'm flattered that many milanisti say they want me with them, but I'm more flattered by the many giallorossi fans who say that they would march in the square if I had to join the rossoneri. For their respect, I will not wear any other shirt in Italy."

When asked whether it's a two horse race between Roma and Real Totti replied: "Yes, I think that this is the situation. However I do not expect to leave."

totti wont leave. Roma will acquire some players in the offseason and satisfy him as they need a cb and cm and with the youth roma have will be competitive. and if madrid do sign him, he will go for a very pretty penny, i could see at about $40mil

if capello leaves roma this year, this year will be considered finished,

also it may be another reason why totti may leave, but i still belive that he will not leave

I'm shocked that Capello went to Juve. That sucks for every team, especially Roma. This sure has been on crappy transfer season for them. First Zebina, then Samuel, then Lima, and no Capello... DAAAAAMN :o

Yesterday Chivu spoke with the Dutch media and he told them that he's unhappy in Rome, what he would really like is a return to Amsterdam, "I was much happier with Ajax" were his words.
COME ON HOME CRIS :p now that Capello is gone you can go too and Ajax will welcome you with open arms.
Would be great to see him back together with Escudé and Heitinga in defense......mmm let's see how this will develop.
Maybe van der Meyde will come back too and then the team will be back as it was, I'm sure there will be a few losses but there's potention enough for next season :)
