Mancini officially wants the Italy job :(

He also doen't want Balo and wants to build around that overrated hack Immobile
He will fail miserably in EURO 2016 and Italy will be in the same position again over 2 years. They need a proper coach, Mancini isn't fit for the job. He had the best players at City and only got 1 title and 1 FA Cup.

has Capello been fired by Russia yet? somebody needs to get on that, stat, so that the FIGC can hire him ...

with Carletto not being fired by Madrid after delivering the Décima, and the likelihood of Prandelli's resignation being withdrawn looking highly unlikely, it's allowed the papers to name Allegri and Mancio as frontrunners ... thankfully I haven't seen Ranieri's name being brought up; that'll be the indicator to head for panic stations ...
Spalletti's without a job too.
Might as well have Mancini if we're going to go for Spalletti..
I'd have expected a group stage exit in the World Cup before they themselves are set to host would be cause for alarm in Russia; I'd have expected a customary firing of the manager to follow ... I'm guessing Capello's severance package is preventatively large ... :bwtf:

thanks for the link ... and there we see it: reportedly £15m severance ... they wouldn't have bothered with all this parliament bullsh!t if they could have viably got rid of him ... looks like they're trying to intimidate him into handing in his resignation ...

Youre becoming pathetic. Now you rely on our training facilities and youth development to find talents.

training facilities? anyway, if you're going to steal, steal from the best ... though in this case it would be steal back ...

Steal back? His dad is German, he is German. I'm not sure if the kid would qualify for an Italian passport.

But speaking of Gaudino, I'm really excited about this kid. Love that this club continues to produce youth and give them a chance.

the oriundi topic is ubiquitous ... and yeah, grandfathers are *soo* distant ...

He's a 17 year old who I had never heard of until this summer. So yeah, knowing the nationality of his grandparents, when he doesn't even have a Wikipedia page, is pretty crazy.

you realize that adidas, nike, etc. makes more than shoes, right? the entire sports brand industry is based around endorsements ...

big manufacturers want their priority players (not just the flagship 1 or 2) to be promotable wearing at least one kit featuring their branding ... and they actively orchestrate best case scenarios, where the branding interests of team, player, and sporting supplier are fully aligned ...
This does not happen
not just players, managers too:
~5 mil salary, 1.9 from the Italian FA, and 3 from Puma ...

anyway, really not happy with this ... Conte brings 3-5-2, ineptitude in the European competitions, and several bridges burnt or damaged with non-Juve players ... :kader:

Since the quote is in Italian, I can only guess at what it actually says but a player or manager's wages being subsidised by the team's sponsor isn't the same as what you (in typical dickish format) quoted yourself as saying.
