pool are screwed big time and so are Arsenal.
on this form, united may beat arsenal easily next week considering scholes and rooney comes back.
that would mean only 2 points from 4 games for them if it were to be...

everton look more solid than ever
it seems that the 3rd andd 4th place competition is still very uncertain even in the early days.
no one seems to be wanting em

COME ON FULHAM!

we're doing alright after a shaky start against man u who are at the moment running away with the prem... but poor bullard, doesn't deserve a nasty injury like that :(

It seems that the injury to Jimmy Bullard isn't as bad as first thought. It is a dislocated knee so that he might be able to return in about 8 weeks, as supposed to a year or two.

The Merseyside derby was hilarious. Liverpool had their share of chances but converted exactly none, while their defence was diabolical most of the time. And Reina... :funny:

Both Man Utd and Chelsea were fortunate to win their respective matches I thought.

Starting XI
Woodgate was immense against Arsenal. He threw himself in front of everything and kept Henry is his back pocket. As much as i hate to say Boro will be a force this season if he can keep fit. To add insult to injury he is just the player we could do with right now :nape:

If he keeps fit there is no reason why he can't get into the England squad and force his way into the starting line-up because he’s a far superior defender than Ferdinand.

Arsenal have got to change the way they play. They are too deliberate in their build-up and seems to lack a bit of goalscoring ability at the moment (something that certainly wasn't the case in the last few seasons). They seem to be having trouble coping with playing on a bigger pitch at the Emirates Stadium when compared to narrow Highbury.

Middlesborough played great. Boateng terrible challenge really let the gunners back in.... THANK YOU DEREK BOATENG:)
I thought George Boateng was a harsh sending off. Id have to see it again but it looked like he pulled something and fell into the player.

Saw a clip from Reina's blunder last saturday.

That was really comic, got me laughing for about 5 min. :lui:
I think Dudek is way better than him.

Reina was the best goalkeeper in The Premiership last year. I thought he did well to throw the ball instead of keeping hold and falling into the net. He was a little unlucky IMO.

In terms of blundering ability or goalkeeping ability?
