Thought it would be funny to put you tube links to the best divers in the game

On a serious note how can we combat the problem? Just watching that last link shows how common its becoming. I feel the way to deal with it would be to bring in Video refing, god knows why they haven't done it already.

A 5-10 second check for the ref to talk to a video ref over a microphone briefly would be far better then watching a player roll around on the floor or deal with 8 players running up to the ref declaring there team mates innocence, not to mention wrong calls.

Now, on the Drogba-Benitez thing, I don't think Benitez should have said anything about Drogba, but then again, he couldn't manage a goal in his visits to Stamford Bridge, so he needs to find something to motivate his team and pressure the refs, while also destabilizing one of Chelsea's key players. Unprofessional? Maybe. Not something I'd like to see, for sure, but he's got to try his stuff, and it MAY well work, or backfire spectacularly...

Didier "Sometimes I dive, sometimes I stand" Drogba could be fired up by that.

Wasn't meant to be. The idea was too put a happy light onto a disgusting problem. These guys are supposed to be role models and there effectively telling youngsters its ok to "cheat", "lie" etc.

Its becoming more and more evident. Just look at these video clips, its even washing over into court rooms . Look at some of the top players in the world at the moment. We could probably argue Gerard and C.Ronaldo are up there with the best of them and we could also argue they both dive. But we wont, we will show it.

The point I'm trying to make people are ignoring it and thus its being made acceptable. Video refing is the way forward, would solve a multitude of problems.
