Post ideas here...give reasons for your selection, the team u use and how best to use it..ie counter attack, wing play, through center or wateva..

In 06, i used 4-2-3-1, with either Juve, valencia or Barca. It was a solid formation, conceded a few. It had width and an atacking midfielder. However, the center of midfield was a bit empty, but the 2 DMs would take care of protecting the backline. The lone striker had to be lethal and needed support from the AM. But a won a lot of competiotions ($) with it.

Now, in 07 i tried it but i struggle. Marking is so hard so i need more midfielders. My frend uses 4-3-3 and i struggle to contain him. i think i shall use 4-3-2-1, or 4-3-3 as well. i shall never use 4-4-2, it sucks..

In FIFA06 I always used 4-4-2 with Liverpool, set my mentality to attack and use wing play.

I have tried the same tactics in 07 but scoring off crosses seems a lot harder now than it did in previous games. So I switched it up and played a game against Man Utd on Semi-Pro using 4-4-2, normal mentality and the counter attack style. I won 6-0, mainly from through balls straight down the middle and a few long range shots(including one from just behind the centre circle ... Gerrard is amazing), so those are the tactics I am going to be using from now on.

yh how do you put ur mentality to atack and stuff i swear the cpu like has their whole team back to defend and then break so fast i even put it on CA and still no difference!!!

the best formation was 4-2-4, but they didn't put it in the game...
you could in 1-2 passes to get in the opponent's box...

in 07 i choose between 2, the first one is : 4-1-2-1-2, that's good if the other team has strong midfield so i start attacks with the r\l winger, pass to the CAM and then i have 2 strikers in front and one player in each wing...

if the other team doesn't close the center field so strong so i play with 4-2-2-2...i tried it once and i surprised how it's usefull (generally i like wing play so i never tried) when you have enpty center field, you have 2 DM in defending and in attacks you have 2 playmakers and another 2 strikers in front...i like it
