so the classic keepers + we shop keeper aren't that good?

i know the classic goalies + a few weshop keeps have good stats but does stats matter for keeps or experience? because i have petr cech on my inter milan team and he is really good making amazing saves with only keeper skills of 86 his reaction and balance and stuff aren't that high either (high 80s +really low 90s maybe). On the other hand i just got this classic keeper named Bankes (not real name WEInt name) anyways he is 17 and his keeper skills are 91 great reaction + balance +defense. But somehow cech is better because my last season with cech he probably let in less than 10 goals probably around 7 the whole season. Both have the one -one stopped ability too. So does goalkeeper need experience to actually live up to their stats?
