One word, three letters: RGB Cable.
Ok, two words, got me there. Either way this is something you have to get (yes, have) if you own PES3 for your PS2 (or even another game).
This little cable can be bought of Play.com and basically what it does is turn PES3 into a whole new game graphics wise, I'll take some pics of PES3 with my digital camera for you later so you can see what it looks like and even though the pics won't be the best quality I can guarantee you that you will see the different. The colours really look like colours, the graphics are a lot more sharper...basically everything has changed except the gameplay.
It's really worth your hard earned 7 quid, I tell ya!

The cable that goes from your PS2 into your TV, the one with the red, white and yellow (Audio R, L and Video) input (that connects into the SCART). Well this RGB cable replaces this one and connects directly into the SCART giving a much better picture quality (DVD like quality because it uses Red Green Blue)

thanks for the tip Phil, just yesterday I was customizing some teams and flags in Winning Eleven 6 and was thinking about how drab the colours looked!

It also improves other games graphics as well as watching DVD's on your PS2.

Here are the screenshots I took (well, I took them with my digital camera, hence the bad quality). You should be able to see the vast improvement in graphics.
