You missunderstood me, I didn't replace flags. I import flags for teams which hadn't been in game yet.


By the way, I noticed an other VERY STRANGE bug. I don't know what it is about and sorry that parts of the debug message are in german, but maybe you understand what is meant, Rinaldo. This sometimes happens when I try to create new players for new teams and only in the face part of their creation.
I had similar problem with importing kits for new teams and it seems like there weren't added an extra line in the db for that new team or player...
But check this:

I also noticed that kit-information (font color and font, kit colours,...) are only saved for 3rd kits.

i have the same problem, but for all grafix, e.g. when loading faces, boots, etc.

At my place works fine, you need to check in coach mode maybe ur aint doing that

Fifa 08 is made like this for quickgame they use this year adboard id99 for every quick game. and others just for tournaments, coach etc.

Don't know whos idea was this but if I was the boss he would be fired

Beta 4 is going to be released with the following news:
1) When importing kit from CMP 07 the kit is inserted in the DB (though the texture is not imported for compatibility reason)
2) When creating a new team the Home kit is automatically inserted in the database.
3) Kit of removed team are also removed from the database.
3) Date random-change of one day is fixed
4) After saving the DB now you can continue to use the "Create Formation" menu of FIFA 08
5) Lists of players in the team pages can be sorted by column
7) You can take a picture of the 3D view of the player and use it as its mini-face.
8) You can change referee kits, training kits and generic goalie kits.

I was not able to reproduce the crash with new kits (maybe I have fixed it unintentionally). A double check about this is welcome.

I am confident that this version should be very close to a release.

Changing graphics not problem but changing database, your career in manager crash.

After plucking up the courage to use it, I noticed that in the tools drop down there's an option for saving fifa.db changes. I unchecked that so I don't have to worry about losing my career mode.

I have tried only few minutes the beta 4. The option to take a picture of 3d and make the miniface is fantastic, really superb

first off I want to say you are simply amazing Rinaldo!

Anyway onto my problem/question, I created a tournament in CM 08, actually the Euro 08, and as most of you know during the qualification stage every team plays the other teams in their group twice, my problem is for some reason once my team has played everyone in their group once it then skips to the next round(Final 16) without all the other teams even doing the same or letting me finish the qualifiers.

Even if I'm elminated at this point(final 16), after the elimination i'm still allowed to play the remaining qualifers that were skipped for an unknown reason even though the tournament has ended. Oh and yes I've already made sure the dates of the tournament are correct, no overlapping.

Ideas? Is this just the game or is this a timing error with CM? All help is appreciated or suggestions.

When I add a third kit, everything in the Fan shop gets reset to 0 value.

Anyone having that problem as well???

Also, after applying the Holland national team patch, i can't access the holland kits. CM08 always crashes.

Dear Rinaldo... have I seen that there are three types of Captain ArmBands but how can I assign him one from the three bands to each team? always the Captain ArmBand for defect is the number 3, but will it be possible to assign him the 1 or the 2??

Most probably there is an error in the tournament design. Maybe there is not enough time for playing all the qualification games. If you are not able to solve the problem, upload your database somewhere and I will make a check.

I did it intentionally. Consider it a gift!

Generally speaking I cannot guarantee that any patch done can work fine with CM08. But in this Beta test phase I will do a check in order to be sure that it is not a CM08 problem. Please, post a link to the patch.
