If you have a career started with an original DB any small change with CM08 will introduce incompatibility, but if you start your career with a database already modified with CM08 and you change some parameters (no add or delete) the database will remain compatible.

I tried to import some popups replacing the textures of the UCL popups that Monkey Dragon made and I'm currently using ... but when I test it the game crashes.

Also I can't import a Indicator PNG texture ... a error message always appears.

When I try make an new player it worked in beta 0.1 & 0.2 fine but after that the face making doesn't work anymore. I get then an error. just with new players

The adboard 99 problem, is not a bug. It's the way FIFA 08 works.

The limit of the fat size cannot be oìsolved. Use File Master 08 and remove from the zdata archives all the unnecessary files, for example all the t212 files.

if i load new fonts and add them to a team, if the team has a generic gk, in game the gk kit appears with "missing texture" where the fonts should be

I figured out that this is not a bug but it's the way FIFA 08 works. Numbers should be organized in "blocks" of 22 colors. The generic goalkeeper kit uses one of those 22 colors but using the number fonts specified by the player's kit. If that font is not present then the missing texture will appear in the game. I will describe this in the help and I also will modify the gk kit page. Other things: name position (Top), Jersey number (Back) and shorts numbers (None) values cannot be modified for a gk kit.

also could u add the jersey name option into the players page again?

I install beta 0.4, and where I can change a training and two gk(If right you understend). And when I import a kits more 2 teams, CM08 is not responding or cm08 stop a work. I import all epl kits(without blackb and portm) some spanish and italian.

Driver D: is 100% workable. Fifa 07 is too installed on driver D and CM07 works fine

But try install FIFA 08 in Drive c . Maybe you can found here a solution.

does CM08 work properly IF i replace the fifa.db that peole posted there ???
their fifa.db files include the official fifa patch (roster update), so i think the changes are made IN the databse and we don't have to "load online updated squads in-game" like when we have to do after installing the patch normally... but then CM doesn't work with the patch...

Rinaldo, do you mean that is not possible to change the GK kit attributes in Fifa 08? or just in this version of your program? because if its not possible to put the name of the gk wherever you want, etc. then thats another reason to say fifa 08 sucks.

Not completely sure, but I think that Monkey Dragon pop-ups are in a FIFA 07 format, not compatible with the big files used by CM08 that are the ones got from FIFA 08.

I have seen that in the installation package the file to23_s.fsh , that should be in the Templates folder, is missed. This is the reason. (Eventually you can copy it there manually and CM08 should work)

For the generic goalie kits, they are inherited from the team kit settings. This is the behavoiur of FIFA 08.

The Popups

Rinaldo when I import the texture number 7 in into the .big file named Score.big the game crashed at the beginning of the second half the match.
Monkey Dragon is your tutorial of the popups said that had to edit some files in Hexadecimal.
Why I want to know if the game was crashed for this. Very Thanks. Sorry for my english

Hello.

I am testing latest beta and am caught in a strange bug. I imported some Fifa 07 cmp files and created new leagues. The game goes well and they work as expected but, in manager mode, when you select to view league table (at the end of season too) the league table doesn't show and the game locks there -> the only way is exiting fifa 08 (in case of interest I use nordic version of the game).
