Sensational player loved his technical skills! Goals for Arsenal vs. Newcastle '02, vs. Leicester City 97/98 season & for Holland vs. Argentina '98 (his goal vs Korea was sweet aswell) are my favourites
All of these goals showed amazing first and 2nd touches
And yes he did mean to score the goal against Newcastle....u watch his eyes....as soon as he touches the ball around Dabizas, he looks straight at Given to see where he is poisitoned so he knows where to finish it, then when he looks at the ball again & its at his feet....fluke, i think not....he then slots it home exquisitely

the farewell of an all time legend what a loss for Arsenal and football in general.
Started his career with my team in Amsterdam and finishing his career with a game against Ajax this weekend at the new Emirates stadium.
Dennis is without a doubt a legend in the line of Zizou, van Basten and he stopped way too early for the Dutch national team but that was his choice.
Thanks for all the great moments Dennis and god speed!
Robin van Persie is ready to follow in his footsteps now
The goal against Argentina in 98 was a classic and for me the best goal for Holland ever together with the goal from Marco against Russia at the EC 88 which gave us the title
Good thing that the match is live on tv here
We will be playing with our 'new' team against Arsenal and in the 2nd half it will be 'classic Ajax' against classic Arsenal.
For Ajax will be playing Marco van Basten and Johan Cruyff man I must see this one!
I will never forget the tribute that the Arsenalfans gave him a few months ago on 'BERGKAMP DAY'. Everything was orange it was a simply beautiful gesture and Dennis was moved by it and so were we. Brilliant from the Arsenalfans to organise this.
