Fair to Arsenal they beat us fair and square. LVG put out a bad team today and it showed. Rojo should have played LB (he was fit and LVG chose not to play him). Rooney should have been dropped for Pereira and Schneiderlin instead of Carrick. Fellaini should not be anywhere near United at this point and I hope we sell him in January. But Wayne 'god fucking' Rooney has been terrible and selfish. Roy Hodgson has made him untouchable when he said that Rooney could lose his place in the England team (which he should). Because of this, LVG has no choice but to play him. This was LVG being Arsene trying to be clever with his team selection and it backfired. Still I expect United to bounce back from this and get back to winning ways. Again fair play to Arsenal, they deserved the win.

I think he could do well, too, but his tactics are very extreme and I'm not sure the managerial climate in England would give him the time to set it up with a squad that is lacking in quality. Especially mid-season.

He will have all a manager needs: Money and time.

Rodgers showed initial success, like Dalglish did. I'm not sure Klopp would get them performing so quickly. If he were allowed to just focus on preparing the squad for next season I can see them sticking with him but it's way too early for that and Klopp would be expected to turn things around immediately.

Liverpool has always had Carlos*asses managers as far as I know. Klopp is someone who has won things so I think it is terrible news that Klopp may be replacing Rodgers. Rodgers was an overrated piece of shit who had nothing on his CV to be Liverpool manager. His CV is worse than Moyes probably.

Rodgers came so close to winning the title. Why didn't they keep him?!!

I have no idea why everyone thinks Klopp will be such a success at Liverpool. His pressing style tactics from bvb won't work, I can't think who he's realistically going to buy to make a difference now his old club is doing well again, and the time his team appeared vulnerable, every team stood up and beat them (right now Liverpool appear vulnerable). I appreciate that he could be a good cl manager for them but can he even get them there in the first place?

Oh and tits.
He has the players in Coutinho, Firmino, Milnder, Henderson, Can, Ings, Sturridge, Allen, Lallana, Clyne and Benteke if he wants to gegenpress. Has a proven record of maximizing potential of a team like Liverpool in BVB. Has the Anfield crowd to feed off. Has worked under a tight budget. Also, under football directors rather than have total control of recruitment. Overall, makes complete sense for all concerned.

You dont need any special talent, just attitude. Its not that Benteke is an undropable super star... They payed a lot of money for him and has a lot to prove yet.

Bournemouth and Watford both got a rough premier league awakening today which I think could sink their seasons. I fancy them both to go down alongside whichever out of Villa and Newcastle dont sack their useless manager and hire Rodgers first. Big Sam to keep Sunderland up on goal difference
