He thinks Hazard reads all his tweets? :icon_spin: How stupid can he be.

Seemed like he was on his way out....... I can see Tottenham nosediving now, especially with Arsenal and Chelsea strengthening.

Modric and Bale might also ask for moves - am I right that Modric refused to sign a new contract because Harry might be leaving during the time of the England job speculation?

I hope Spurs do nose dive. Hopefully sooner or later they'll learn that they need to stop being so fickle. It's always the same thing, Jol got sacked for a bad run after 2 solid seasons and now Harry has been shafted for essentially making it the most successful Spurs team in years? I'm struggling with the logic.

There's more to it than just fickleness I think....... I get the feeling that the success was really going to Harry's head and he was making some huge contract demands and really rubbing Daniel Levy the wrong way......

I actually think this is the best thing for Harry as I think Tottenham would have declined next season whether he was there or not, and this way he will detach himself from the blame. Interesting to see what is the next step in his career.....

As for the Tottenham job, Moyes is the favourite. I kind of hope he doesnt go, I like him at Everton. Martinez is also linked, but he's been linked to every vacancy this summer. Capello is the expensive option, Villas Boas the left field option. Someone like Capello might just be able to persuade one or two of the stars to stay....

Does this also mean the Vertonghen deal will fall through?

He's not overrated. He just got unlucky to move to Chelsea with the older players ruining the atmosphere.

One of my hopes is that he'll join some English team without crybabies and win Chelsea for the "**** you moment" of the league.

That Italian paper is jumping the gun as usual, it's by no means confirmed yet.

Possibly. I think he should not have jumped to Chelsea at such an early stage in his career too. He should have stayed maybe 1 or 2 years in Porto to get more experience.

experience.

He's coaching since he was 20.

With the players Chelsea is signing he would dominate the EPL. Made the mistake to try to play in a style their players can't though.

I know. But he has very little experience at the top level as a manager. By top level I don't mean the British Virgin Islands National team or Académica. He has very little UCL experience. I think another year at Porto would've helped.

Also, I think one of the reasons why he failed at Chelsea is because decisions about transfers were not made by him. Players were already bought before he came in. He couldn't tailor his squad according to plans because he was not the one who decided about transfers.

Looks like Giroud is on his way to Arsenal. Another signal of intent.
They should be looking at reinforcements for defence & midfield now.
