Az I just noticed you are finally almost about to hit 10k! Come on, let's do it today

Nolan has a goal flagged offside. Looked onside, but his shoulder might be offside, not sure. Lucky for City anyway.

Looking at West Ham, I think they could definitely hold on and get a midtable finish. Nolan and Carroll work well together, and Jarvis is a good winger. You also have Noble, Diame and Yossi in there, and Jussi is decent Prem keeper. Allerdyce won't play pretty football, but I think they have a better squad than Reading, Soton and Norwich.

Then again, they ARE only 3 points off of a CL spot, so I might just be stating the obvious.
Yeah they are not a bad side, the Carroll coup makes a huge, huge difference. There are still obvious holes of course, but West Ham are really a Premier League club who were relegated rather than a Championship club who were promoted.

But then, if we're talking man for man, QPR have a better squad and they are stuck to the bottom

QPR will get there, I feel, it's a lot of changes to the squad and it will take a while to get going. The fact that we dropped 2 points and played Bertrand and Ramires against them is horrible, though.

Yeah, but I don't hage anything good planned for the big post. :(

I'm not sure how City are supposed to be lining up, but they don't have much width. Kolo is not a natural RB and Balotelli, Nasri, Tevez and Dzeko are playing around the edge of the box. They knew West Ham were gonna defend deep, and the presence of Toure, Balotelli and Dzeko in the squad could help with crosses into the box (toure in set-pieces although I think heps staying back for them), but no one is putting them in. They need to open the field up, which is exactly what Jarvis is doing for West Ham.

Carroll goes close with an overhead kick. Would be awesome if he won this for West Ham. I'd like to see him brawl with Balotelli.

Apparently Balotelli and Mancini had another bust-up, is that true?

He's not playing well, and Mancini doesn't look pleased. In fact, he's getting subbed off as I write this and Mancini doesn't even look at him.

0-0 the final score. I missed the last 15 minutes, but at no time did City really look dominant. Good matchday for United. Arsenal and Spurs lose, City and us draw and even Everton dropped points. The table is tight, United with 24, Chelsea 23, City 22. Any dropped points could be crucial now.

Like I said when Zakov brought it up, it's ridiculous. It's a shame too, because if true, it means that I can never be sure if the referee officiating is holding a grudge against us, and it's gonna detract from the football.

Great results all around the league for United, Chelsea and City drew, Spurs were defeated, and even Everton drew.

The next two games against Aston Villa and Norwich should be easy, but you never know in EPL.

I had a feeling Chelsea were gonna drop points because of Terry's absence. Excellent weekend for us. I'm glad RvP snubbed Juventus for us. (H) That Rooney-RvP strikeforce is probable the best in the world right now.

Suarez is so maddeningly brilliant. What a goal, and if Shelvey hadn't fluffed that chance he would've turned this around with two great moves in 5 minutes.

Liverpool seem to play best when they ping it long.

Help?

Haha, what happened there? Not on purpose is it?

Liverpool and Newcastle ends 1-1 with two nice goals from Cabaye and Suarez. Newcastle were down to 10 men for a while because Coloccini decided he wanted to injure Suarez.

QPR had to come back to draw 1-1 with Reading. Still winless.
