Yeah they are not a bad side, the Carroll coup makes a huge, huge difference. There are still obvious holes of course, but West Ham are really a Premier League club who were relegated rather than a Championship club who were promoted.Mandieta6;3333699 said:Nolan has a goal flagged offside. Looking at West Ham, I think they could definitely hold on and get a midtable finish. Nolan and Carroll work well together, and Jarvis is a good winger. You also have Noble, Diame and Yossi in there, and Jussi is decent Prem keeper. Allerdyce won't play pretty football, but I think they have a better squad than Reading, Soton and Norwich.
Then again, they ARE only 3 points off of a CL spot, so I might just be stating the obvious.
