my thought? ... that was Harry Kane response for that picture ;-)

Spurs played one of the best matches this year and Harry Kane is officially the best England player now ... It's a shame if United or Arsenal qualify ahead of Spurs and hampton at the moment ...

Seeing their squad, it's really had to fathom why Aston Villa are so bad. Their manager was one of the more promosing in British football 2 years ago. Their squad, on paper, should be rather safely midtable. Guzan is decent enough keeper, Okore and Clark had shown glimpses of promise and Vlaar, Hutton and Cissoko have been tested at this level. In midfield Westwood, Delph and Cleverley have both experience and relative youth and in attack they have Benteke, Agbonlahor and Weiman, who are a decent combination of abilities as well as talent, experience and youth. They also have decent depth with experienced squad players like Joe Cole, Kieran Richardson, Bacuna, Senderos, Scott Sinclair and N'Zogbia. I don't think I've watch them this season but I expected them to be better than this.

Actually, which is just on the border of where I'd expect them. I can't see them breaking the current Top 12, anyway.

In order to win you must score more times than the opposition. Odd that they would bench Benteke in this situation, but I guess they're just desperate for any spark.

If i could i would put a giant load of cash on Harry Kane winning Young player of the year.

Wouldn't win you much because right now it seems pretty obvious he's a solid frontrunner.

Haha Stoke actually with 60% possession at Newcastle and they let the home side get the goal in like the first real occasion they had in the second half.

There was some news earlier today about the Prem receiving even more money from their TV deal this or next season. Is it just a matter of time before the English Top 20 are better than everyone else barring the traditional powers? I mean, I'm pretty sure Hull are getting more cash than Atletico on a yearly basis now. Just look at Leicester's squad, who are dead last and were promoted this year. They're not world beaters but there's certainly some recognisable names there, perhaps more so than in Italy's Europa clubs. Schwarzer, Cambiasso, Upson and Huth are currently playing for them. It used to be that promoted clubs had lower league elite and a few Premier League rejects. Now they feature experienced Prem and international players and can bring in promising players like Kramaric.

Maybe, but only if they use it wisely and invest heavily in their internal infrastructure like Burnley is doing with this year's money (they're pouring it into their training ground at Gawthorpe). So'ton is a perfect example of what good investment can do.

Otherwise the cycle will continue.
