Except for Brazil and Argentina no team is clearly better than the German one. We're not that good at the moment but we made it to the WC final, England or Holland haven't been there since decades.

Kuranyi is only 22 and already a good striker. He's proving in in Stuttgart week in week out. His father (if I remember correctly) is German so there's nothing wrong with him.


Seriously, I wouldn't give a sh*t about those rankings.


That's the point. How are the young player supposed to get better if they don't get any playing time?


Only the result matters. Who cares about the way a team plays, I don't as long as its wins the freaking games.

you are quite wrong on some stuff.. like Kuranyi being good.. He's afraid to hit the ball with his head (literally)- I've watched plenty of games, he's lame, that's why he can't play in Brazil.

Besides, Germany wasn't always a defending state. If you are a fan of classic games like myself, you will see constant attacks by West Germany.

If you dont think that, you can even watch the classic games on worldcup.com

I gree with you tha Kuranyi sucks, but he wuoldn't get in Brasil NT even if he was good. cuz Brazil has Ronaldo and Adriano. even Ricardo Oliveira is better than him.

Like I said before, he has yet to show his skills in the national team but he's a good striker. You should watch some Stuttgart games.

Holland? Eh... They suck bigger ass than Poland. All they had is one player throughout history and with him gone there is nothing the Netherlands can look forward to.. not even Van Nistelrooy .

I have watched them equally with Germany in the Euro cup.. and what I saw was a national joke.

I have seen stuttgart games and they are dissapointing. The man is unable to strike with the head - something that is a MUST for the position he holds. Kuranyi is nothing compared to what Germany used to have. Amen.

i pulled it out of my ass.. Nah, I do something called "watch the game". If you really want to lie to yourself in thinking that Holland is something its not, fine you can do that.

Funny thing is, if you watch some quality football on TV you will notice the difference between real football (argentina, brazil, yugoslavia, england) and between the crappy teams like Holland, Latvia, Germany.

Yeah, I'm being fair. Maybe these teams will improve but heck I don't see that happening this World Cup, nope.

I don't know in Germany, but I guess it's the same: In most cases is cheaper for a club to bring some young talent from south-america or africa than having a youth school. That's why many clubs doesn't have a football school. Of course that's terrible for home talents.

Some english footballer (who was he?) said something like: "Football is a game where 11 players play against 11 players, and at the end Germany wins"
I think that shows how was German football not that long ago.

It's sad that you believe someone knows nothing about football just because they state their own opinion ... real clever mr dictator. It's also sad that you base Holland's skill on 3 players.

When I refer to Holland playing bad I do not necessarily mean that all the players are bad.. Think before you say something. It's the national team I am referring to. They are processing no results that can be applauded, and you will see what I mean on Wednesday when they are killed by England.

Of course he's no Müller or Klinsmann, he's a very good striker though. He has to work on his headers but that's not a big problem as long as Klose is playing next to him. Klose is one of the best at doing that and currently the second best goal scorer in the Bundesliga.

I disagree with that somewhat.

If they were good enough, Kuranyi, Deco, (and all those other brazillians on countries like Japan, Tunisia etc..) would be playing for Brazil. They just settle, and play for countries they can make. Same with Camoranesi, he wanted to play for Argentina, Bielsa ignored him so he played for Italy. Sometimes it works the opposite, look at Hargreaves, Klose and half of France NT.

Are you sure Klose has lived in Germany his whole life? My polish friend told me differently.
