Weird, for thr first time i'm having problems with any FIFA game.

The game is very dark, seems that the games played without any lighting, also the reactions of the players are slow not smooth like i used to in FIFA 2003.

I'm using 1024*768 res.
tried with 800*600, w/o any improvement.

Here is my comp. details:

CPU: Intel P4 2.4 Mhz [533/512]
OS: Windows XP Pro/Corp. SP1
Mobo: Gigabyte 8SINXP1394
RAM: 512 Kingston 400DDR
Video: Leadtek Ti4200 128mb AGPx8 Vivo
Audio: SoundBlaster Audigy I
Speakers: Inspire 5300

Well maybe you can ajust your monitor's brightness when ever you play fifa2004 and when your done just fix up your brightness back to the way it was?

There is feeling like you playing without any floodlights !!

The game seems really dark for me too. Not so much at midfield but near the goals it's VERY dark. I cranked my brightness and contrast to full and it's still dark.

Little solution that might help, i removed my previous drivers 40.72 & installed newer one 44.03, the game seems to played better & lighter. But still need improvements .

I got the same problem. Only when I play in nightmode I can see the pitch clearly. Otherwise on day mode it is only when there is is a close up or a corner that I can see anything clearly. It's mostly the pitch that is dark as the night.

I have played all Fifa PC-games since WC98 and never had any of these kind of problems.

Any simple solutions anybody.

The lighting in the game is very poor - I have a similar problem with Madden 2004, I always wear my team's white uniforms so I can identify my players better.

use gamma control pannel to correct gamma, brightness and all this stuff. i just increase gamma settings from 1 to 1,7 that may seem too much for windows itself but inside fifa the colors are perfect.
